Time to expatriate. There is no justice in this country, and there is no fixing the broken system that has been highjacked by right-wing extremists and corporations. Here is what's coming down the pike for those of us who stay in the USA:
Higher unemployment rates.
No access to medical care, which is by design, as insurance companies continue to shaft consumers and obstructionists refuse to guarantee health care as a basic human right.
Runaway inflation that will consume all savings, capital, and real estate holdings.
Violent crime on a scale never before seen as people fight for basic necessities like food and water. Also, vigilante justice will become prevalent since it is clear that the court system is no longer serving justice, and people will realize that this must be taken into their own hands.
I don't know about you, but I am getting the hell out. too bad I just signed a one-year lease on a new apartment, because if not for that, I would pack it up and leave the country RIGHT NOW. We had an election and we elected a president who promised change, who promised to deliver us from the horror of the grips of the extreme right-wing social Darwinists, who would just as soon see the weakest members of society die rather than attempt to assist them in any way, shape, form, or fashion. We gave Congress a super majority so that we could pass legislation to correct all the wrongs of the past 8-plus years of Republican failure. Congress fumbled, and the majority was taken from us. We donot want bipartisanship, we want COMPLETE CHANGE AND COMPLETE TAKEOVER OF POWER FROM THE EXTREMIST RIGHT. Harry Ried, you are completely 100% dead wrong on this subject.
Since illnesscaused me to lose my job, I'll be filing bankrupcty this month. After that proceeding, I am planning to seek an escape from the madnessthat has become living in the USA. Costa Rica is looking pretty good.
