World War III or the Third World War is name given to a theoretical third worldwide large scale military clash ensuing to World War I and World War II. The term has been being used since 1941.

Some have connected it freely to refer to restricted or limited clashes, for example, the Cold War or the War on Terror, while others have worked under the suspicion that such a contention would outperform both earlier world wars in both the dimension of its across the global scope and of its in general ruinous impact.

Due to the advancement and utilization of atomic weapons close to the end of World War II and their development and acquisition by numerous nations, the potential danger of an atomic annihilation of Earth's civilization and life is a typical topic in theories of a Third World War.

Another real concern is that biological warfare could cause an extensive number of killings, either purposefully or unintentionally by a coincidental release of a biological agent, the unforeseen transformation of an agent, or its adjustment to different species after use. High-scale whole-world destroying events like these, brought about by advanced technology utilized for devastation, could possibly make Earth's surface dreadful.

Accordingly, the global peace and stability will definitely be at stake and this scenario needs sincere efforts at global scale to be made for the betterment of the humanity.
