Hating "Obama-Care" Neocons Advocate "Don't-care"

Obama is not a Socialist. Before neocons go throwing that word around, learn what it means. Yes, Congress does control the purse strings, so when Congress passes the bill, and the president signs it, they'll (logically) fund it. This bill is lame - its worth passing only insofar as it is at least a dent in the armor of antitrust-exempt insurance companies. Whycons stick up for these mega-wealthy, heavily-subsidized companies I will never know.

Wait, I've heard the right wing responses before: "I don't want some government bureaucrat coming between me and my doctor" - right - isn't that what Rush O'Reilly told conservatives to say? Well, we've already got some insurance agent coming between us and our doctor, and neocons don't seem to mind that. The only thing this bill will do is come CLOSER to forcing health insurance companies to play by the same Capitalist rules that ALL OTHER BUSINESSES IN THIS COUNTRY MUST FOLLOW! If neocons are true capitalists, they should support this bill - otherwise, they are supporting the status quo, which is socialism from the top--entitlements for fat cats!

if the cons who are against this bill had themselvesbeen denied health insurance because of pre-existing conditions, let's say, cancer, they might have decided that this health bill ISATLEAST SOME KIND OF REFORM,after all:since this health reform bill does preclude insurances companies the ability to refuse coverage to those who need it the most.

Many are unable to get insurance, or if they can get it at all, they get it at tremendous cost, paying something like $1,100 a month! I myself am on Medicare, thank God, and cannot be refused coverage, but for all of those in this country of ours who are STILL uninsured, I pray this bill will pass, and will eventually provide health care to EVERY citizen of this country.

It breaks my heart to think of millions of people going through the fear, anxiety, and frustations they go through, spending half their life savings just trying to pay the medical bills to keep alive, and then they often have to turn around and spend the remaining half of their life savings on health insurance premiums.

I wish the teabagger/GOPers would try walking in other people's shoes. They seem to lack both critical thinking skills AND empathy, since they seem to fanaticallydefend the same mega-corporate titans who put America in the poorhouse and who victimize and stomp all over the American peoples' rights and wellbeing.
