This week's 15th ministerial summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran represents an excellent opportunity for the developing world to sound its sirens about the mismanagement of the global order and to be "more proactive", as suggested by United Nations secretary general Ban Ki-moon.
