| Faking 'evidence' is a way of life in the 21st century. One might read Senator Al Franken's wonderful book, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them." Too bad scientists joined that crew. Why is anyone surprised that liars abound in the professions, even in science? At a time when media across the country disseminates outright lies, and there are no consequences for misrepresenting facts, the whole society is affected. A candidate who would be the leader of this great country at a time of great peril, stood before the people and rather than debate reality, misrepresented the facts with outright lies about his opponent -- who just happens to be the sitting president of the United States. In education, fraudulent claims emptied the schools of the experienced practitioners. The media, with no real evidence, initiated a fraudulent national conversation about evaluating teachers.
