Now, we're soaked in bullshit, and it is bad for us!
First, it was the bullshit about "Weapons Of Mass Destruction"
Now, its bullshit about a young, bright, but inexperienced, Black Man
We were hustled by Bush
And now, we're being hustled by Obama
And we're so offended
If someone says that we support Obama because he's black
Or we support Hillary because she's a woman!
Or McCain because he's an old, white, soldier!
Cut the crap! These are the reasons!
Why do we buy the bullshit?
Why do we buy our own bullshit?
Why do we buy some bullshit
But not other bullshit?
Why do we allow ourselves to be hustled?
Why do we hustle ourselves?
Anyone got the answer?
Right, Left, or Center!
Why are we so offended by other people's bullshit
But not our own?
Is it because we've been raised with so much bullshit
That we can't tell the difference between truth or fiction?
Is it because we're all bullshitters
And we don't know any other way?
Or is it because we just like to fool and be fooled?
Like the person who says, "Tell me you love me and I'll sleep with you?"
Or is it because we only have three kinds of bullshit to choose from?
When are we going to come clean?
When will we finally clean up our minds, hearts, souls
And, by extension, our air, water, and land?
I fear, that we never will
I fear, that we are too deep in it, to ever crawl out, before it consumes us
I fear, that, as Jim Morrison once sang, "This is the end"
Because, it's all bullshit, and its bad for us!
