The talking heads on MSNBC were surmising what Romney would do if he loses to McCain in Florida, and his coffers need some infusing from contributors to carry him through tsunami Tuesday, would he kick in say, $40 mil of his own.
You know, pocket change to tide him over until contributions come rolling in.
By the way, when asked how much of his own money he's ponied up so far, Romney refused to answer until it was time for the official accounting of all the campaigns.
My question is, why would anyone of the average Joe-type contribute a dime of his hard-earned, harder-to-hang-on-to money to a multi-gazillionaire who can buy the election like he'd buy any toy of his choosing for his own amusement?
