I scan the news networks. Lately, I've been starting off my morning with the Morning Joe show. This morning, they gave a decent amount of time to Scott McClellan's disclosure that he lied for Bush, Cheney, Libby, Card and Rove. But I like to check what CNN is doing. I change the channel. They are puffing Glen Beck's new book. He's talking, as usual, like a total ass and idiot. This guy is suck (that was supposed to be such, but wow, does it apply)... such a sack of **it. CNN deserves whatever adverse consequences they experience. It is shameful that they treat him like a person with a fully functioning brain.

For example, Beck complains that high fuel economy cars are so unattractive, they are designed for bling people (another typo that should be blinD.) Amazing how my typos let the truth ooze through. Anyway, remember that scene in the movie, ANNIE, where Daddy Warbucks is reading a script on the radio and he realizes he's just read an advertisement, and says, shocked, "Did I just read an advertisement?" I kind of felt that way when I realized I was actually watching Glen the idiot Beck. And I changed the channel, where they had a substantive Discussion with Mark Haynes, discussing how Paul Wolfowitz said the war would cost $50 billion, asking, where's the outrage of all our money we're spending. And next, they bring on Arianna Huffington-- excellent, that they bring on a progressive, though it would be better if they brought on someone further left-- like me. (Don't hesitate to suggest ME to MSNBC. Modesty won't get me on the air, talking about impeachment, de-funding the war, the hiding of the economic meltdown and calling neocons sociopaths.

Ugh. MSNBC runs an ad for the Thanksgiving predator marathon. What is with their programming staff's fixation on child abusing perverts?
I switch to the early show. Total pap-- people saying what they're thankful for.
Click I switch to good Morning America-- weather, chit chat. Sigh. I'll just write for a while. I switch back to CNN, since the last half hour of Morning Joe is usually sports talk, which by SADD (sports attention deficit disorder) leads me to ignore. I switch back to CNN. Lots of talk about weather and holiday travel. I switch back to MSNBC. They're showing new footage on Scott McClellan, talking about Bush's credibility problems on Mika Brezinski's hour. It's sad about CNN. Ted Turner must disgusted. Oh. Wait! Mika is talking about the girl who committed suicide after a parent of a schoolmate dissed her, pretending to be a teenager. We've heard of this ad nauseum. Poor Mika, having to deliver the news cued up by the programming people who are fascinated with perverts. This story fits in with their obsession.

Chronicling America's Economic Meltdown-- the Neocon Attack-- and What they Plan
Remember how they lied to us about the WMDs? About the ease of winning the Iraq war? About torture? About the lack of warning of the threat of 9/11? Well, the biggest lie of all may be their failure to tell the truth about how bad the economic perfect storm we are facing is-- not shaping up-- already. We are deep in the midst of a disaster-- a huge disaster that is still gathering momentum. One friend, an expert on economics, tells me that the sociopathic neocon traitors who put us in this mess will use the chaos and disaster as an excuse to do insane things, maybe even stuffing the North American Union down our throats-- the United North American States of Canada, the former Republic of the USA and Mexico. How's that sound? We know that these bastards have been willing wreak chaos, death and destruction upon scores of third world nations. Perhaps their biggest experiment, to top of their trail of failures (spun as successes) will be to re-cast the USA as another Milton Friedman, free trade reinvention. Okay. I admit, I am in the throes of reading Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine, but the news keeps piling in, if you look for it (since the MSM is glossing over it, treating it as technical reporting, without translating what a disaster this is.)

My article on this, today,Treasury Sec Paulson Expects Tidal Wave of Mortgage Problems; and One Republican Senator is blocking Major Interventions, reports on the latest stupidity by Bush's backwards U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, who will, assuredly fail to tell the truth on how bad things are. And then, when he finally does talk about, you can be sure that he'll have protected and taken care of the big corporatist donors to the Bush and RNC coffers first, before taking care of we the people.

We are in for hard times. The US dollar will continue to drop, causing all kinds of basic costs to rise-- gasoline, anything that is transported using gasoline, and of course, all those imported products will be going up. Then, at some point, the Chinese are going to start cashing in the trillions in chits they're holding. How fast can you say privatization of roads, police, education, water. Can you say, "Shanghai Potomac River, or Beijing Delaware River? Because the way Bush's neocon buddies think, anything is privatizable.

Where to Put Your Money as the Economy Collapses
When you're in a storm, it's essential you be able to see where you're going. OpEdNews.com will be your first line of defense against the fog, smoke and mirrors that is spewing out of Washington, magnified by the mainstream media. WE're going to need all the support you can muster, as we amp up our reporting on the economy, on the machinations the Republicans and the Democrats use to mask just how bad it is getting. Believe me, the Dems will start hiding the extent of the economic mess as soon as they own it.

So, yes, I am asking again, that you support OpEdNews.com, because we're doing an essential job, exposing the stories, the underlying issues, the hidden agendas, the failed policies, the blockages and stonewalling that are keeping the US and the world from moving towards progress. We are at war with the corporatists and the MSM they control. You can watch the mainstream media make jokes and engage in puff journalism, or you can dig deep, sacrifice a little and contribute to OpEdNEws, where we shine light on reality. Reality is a precious thing. But you deserve it. Today, I'd like to see at least 10 contributions of $5 each and at least five contributions of $100 or more, and one of $250 or more. We are down to ten days, including today, to raise $2500. It is very doable. We spend most of our monthly budget on hosting and webmaster and programming costs. Then we have costs for phones, rent, internet access, cable, utilities... It doesn't take much to reach the $3300 we're shooting for. Raw Story is looking to get 1000 contributors in a short time. We've had close to 800 contributions so far this year. We'd like to reach 1000 contributions by the end of the year. That would mean about five a day for the next 40 days. It's not a wild and crazy goal. But it takes you. Even $5 makes a difference.

Oh, about where to put your money, besides supporting OpEdNews... I'm not a financial advisor, but the US dollar is tanking. Precious metals, foreign currency, any way to get your money out of investments that will ride down and down with the dollar is the way to go. Don't expect gas prices to drop much. I think they'll hit $5 before summer 2009, probably with a drop, manipulated by the oil companies, to coincide with the 2008 elections, just like we saw in 2006. Once the elections are over, the sky is the limit for gasoline. Invest in companies that do green things with homes, like replacement heaters that are more efficient. Replace your out-dated, energy inefficient heaters and air conditioners. The energy bills will be going through the roof. Matter of fact, why isn't congress putting through legislation that gives tax deductions for investing in anything that reduces energy consumption or switches to none fossil fuel energy? Why isnt' congress producing legislation that encourages borrowing and lending to replace old, energy guzzling technologies?

You can tell the mood I'm in. Could be that way until I finish reading Shock Doctrine, which I'm getting through at 20-50 pages a day. The amazing thing is I didn't think I could find even more contempt and disgust for the neocons and their free trade, globalist ideals. And I now feel even better that the model for global trade I espouse is based on a scientific principle-- what I call Membrane economics.

A few years ago, before the 2004 elections, I said that George W. Bush was the most despised and hated man in the history of the world. I partially based my assertion on the fact that there are a few billion more people to hate him than there were at the time Hitler lived. Well, it may be that the free trade, globalist, privatization neocons will become the most hated political group in the history of the world, for the same reason. They have destroyed and advocated for the destruction of dozens of nations, using torture and mass murder as a key ingredient in their nation destruction and re-construction strategy. There are hundred, maybe thousands of neocons who deserve to be tried as war criminals and sentenced to guantanamo.

Sorry for the extended rant.

Have a great one,
