Hannity, Breitbart lead conservative media fundraising for activist videographers sued by ACORN
(4 comments) On the heels of ACORN filing a lawsuit against conservative activists Hannah Giles, James O'Keefe, and Breitbart.com LLC, Sean Hannity, Andrew Breitbart, HotAir.com's Allahpundit, and NewsBusters have offered to -- in the words of Hannity -- "put out the word" to "help" Giles and O'Keefe raise money for their legal defense.

(2 comments) Karl Rove claimed that while discussing "the so-called lies and misstatements about his proposal," Obama "made a series of very glaring misstatements or distortions." In fact, it was Rove who was advancing falsehoods and distortions.

McCaughey returns to CNBC with another false health care attack
(1 comments) Betsy McCaughey again advanced a falsehood about health care reform, claiming that the "legislation that's now in Congress will force everyone under age 65 to buy the same one-size-fits-all government plan" and that "Page 16" of the House bill "says you must be enrolled in a qualified plan." This is; the provision she referred to does not require anyone to give up their their private individual health insurance plan.

They ignore the fact that tens of millions of Americans are underinsured and that the reform bills contain several provisions intended to benefit those currently insured.

CNN president emails Dobbs pronouncing birther story "dead," but Lou won't let it go
(3 comments) After CNN President Jon Klein reportedly emailed information to the staff of Lou Dobbs Tonight that Klein said shows the "story" about President Obama's birth certificate "is dead," Lou Dobbs noted that evidence on air, but then asked Roland Martin: "When this could be dispelled so quickly, and -- and simply by producing [the birth certificate], why not do it?"
