NY Times Reports that Christian Conservatives Want Their Own Party

by Timothy V. Gatto     Page 1 of 1 page(s)

It seems as if the “Christians Conservatives” are threatening a third party if Rudy Guiliani wins the primaries. That’s a gas. Bush was good enough for them but Rudy Guiliani isn’t. The Conserva-Christians want to protect “The Sanctity of Life” as long as they are white Christian Americans. God forbid killing a fetus that’s six weeks old but it’s OK to kill a million people in Iraq. After all they are only dirty Muslims, right?

I hope that they do form a third party as The New York Times Reported. They could call it The Christian Fundamentalist Party and they could use the cross as their “mascot”. Wouldn’t that be a hoot? They could, instead of campaigning “proselytize”. That would make for some really good headlines. I can hear it now, “Jesus supports Mitt!”. When are these people going to go back into their churches and quit enticing the United States to fight their “Crusades” against everyone that doesn’t accept Jesus as their “personal savior”?

It would be great if they do this though. This way the Repukes would be as split as the ‘Crats. They would have their liberal side and their conservative side, just like the “other party”. Now all we would need is a viable fourth party to split the Democrats and make it a four-way race. If anyone has been reading me, they would know what I have been working on. This could make a coalition of Liberal/Progressives a force to be reckoned with.

Someway, somehow, the American people have to work their way out of this partisan bickering that’s going on in Washington. Conservatives have way too much power in Washington and their lackeys from BOTH parties better choose what they want to do. The people are sick and tired of the killing and genocide going on in our name. Let the self-righteous Democrats that vote with the Republicans go and join this new party. Believe me, they won’t be missed.

There is basically no difference from a Muslim Fundamentalist and a Christian one, they both use God to scare the crap out of people. Until people understand that God never came down from heaven and wrote anything for anyone, people will be following these death merchants to the ends of the Earth. If it were possible, I’d like to see these Christian radicals and Muslim radicals fight it out in the desert, and when the one side wins, prosecute them for murder! Then all the regular Christians and Muslims can live in peace! Think I have an attitude problem? Maybe you are right.

That’s the way I see it.

Ron Paul?

I suppose these pro-life Christians won't support Ron Paul because he wants to end the Iraq War. It's all too insane!

Christian Conservatives Become The Muslim Party!

Seems to me Christian Conservatives already have had their own party for a long time now. They never had Jesus on their minds to begin with. True Christians would give their life as Jesus did, to win the hearts of the people. These so called Christian Conservatives today in the US are no better than the extremist Muslims they have contempt for. I would like to say God Bless them, but they constantly prove how really damned they all are.

The Fourth Party

Why wouldn't the Green Party fit the bill for the fourth party you seek?  Wouldn't a  four-way race of Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, and Ralph Nader give real choices to the voters?  I would welcome it (and, of course vote for Ralph...again!)

4th Party

Tragically the greens carry unpopular baggage. They are seen as a single issue party that is anti business, profits & jobs. Too vulnerable to politicking especilly to the right,  conservative  and the aspirational Dems territory. Strategy tip. Create another party then phase out 'greens'

One tiny tiny problem

The US has optional voting. History dictates that the most doctrinal are the the most committed......You could finish up with a Faldwell Jr as President!

Zealotry of any kind is simply another form of Bigotary and that is just another excuse to eliminate others.

4 parties all trying for government in your system can you imagine the initial vote 15-20% of the population.

What is needed is a idealistic third party to hold the balance of power to eliminate excesses of both parties.  (see Australian Democrats)
