99.34 Percent Say Cheney Should Be IMPEACHED. What Say You? by The Pen Page 1 of 1 page(s) |

There is nothing that will get to real policy change faster than confronting the vice president with a serious impeachment prosecution. And nothing will make it happen faster than if you will speak out now. The number of votes in the National Cheney Impeachment Poll is now over 47,000 and still climbing steadily. And what's most remarkable is that so far 99.34% of all freely chosen votes have been YES. And you can cast your vote too right now with one click.

Please note that we are not asking people in the National Cheney Impeachment Poll whether people think he will be impeached, we are asking if he SHOULD be impeached. Everyone already knows that Cheney is guilty of every impeachable offense imaginable. Our only hurdle is to get people to actually admit it to themselves, to do their own duty, to save our democracy from its greatest threat ever, an unaccountable dictatorship run from a secret undisclosed location.
They say that one person can change the world. What can we do with upwards of 50,000 people already engaged in this? We can change the course of American political history, if each of us just does what we can. All we have to do in demonstrate by our numbers that the political will already is in place.
Please take action NOW, so we can win all victories that are supposed to be ours, and forward this message to everyone else you know.

Pretty amazing situation
Wolfowitz and Libby already left. Gonzalez is under strong pressure to leave as well. And Cheney is now also getting under direct pressure. This is unprecedented! How long before Bush himself will come under direct calls for impeachment? by Han (0 articles, 2 quicklinks, 0 diaries, 228 comments [6 recommended, 0 rejected]) on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 1:35:05 AM

We have been asking for Bush's impeachment for years! But it sure seems that ALL damn politicians LEFT - RIGHT are all in bed together. Pelosi's "Impeachment is off the table..." when she sure knows all the attrocities Bush & Co. have perpetrated. I read an article by Harry Reid (some time last year), where he said that if he tackled the mafia in Nevada and beat them... that he would tackle the CONs in the same way and look forward to being in a majority seat with the power to subpena. And now that he's there... Nada. I don't know who's more chicken at this point. I liked the Democrats better when they were stonewalled before the elections of Nov 06. They spoke with conviction and determination. That's why the were elected. They showed that they were not going to be fooled into agreeing with the CONs.... bu there goes to show you how screwed up this county is. Democrats in charge are Affraid!! because they're in bed with the Republicans in most of the $$$ money issues. Shameful, but Welcome to America - the Land of the mighty, glorious "Military Industrial Complex". Only God (I hope) will be able to topple this one down. Who knows how many generations, and wars is going to take. by Frank gr (1 articles, 0 quicklinks, 1 diaries, 50 comments) on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 4:34:24 PM

False hope ...
Are you people kidding me? What's changed? The worst are still in place. And for the most part those they've put in place are still in place. Even those that have left still infect the outcome. Rumsfeld is still playing the game with his new venture. He should be in jail. So should all these pricks. But are they? No. They get medals and $400,000 dollar get-out-of-jail-free compensation packages. f*ck this shit! Not to lose my composure or anything ... but I'm sorry, I've had it! If the so-called representatives of the people can't actually represent us? - f*ck EM! by Mr M (8 articles, 0 quicklinks, 66 diaries, 2845 comments [654 recommended, 27 rejected]) on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 9:16:31 PM
