Here's your chance to vote for an electric concept car that is also, IMHO, one of the coolest looking vehicles to come along in a long time. Go to the URL above to vote for the GM Volt and then go to the URL below to find out more about the volt.

So what's it going to be, the Dell of hybrid cars, the Prius, or the iPod, ie., the Volt?

It's the Steve Jobs theory--make appropriate technology beautiful and they will come. They may come for all the wrong reasons, but once they get there they'll find the right reasons, and the air gets a little better and green technology gets another convert.

Best,

Steve Corrick

Watt is a Volt? ha ha.

I never understand why they insist on including a 1liter gas engine? In fact all they need is a small electric generator that runs on ethanol to keep the battery charged. Just as they have two gas tank systems, the same principal can be used with two sets of batteries. When one battery set decharges the other kicks in, while the small generator begins working to recharge the 1st set of batteries. Plus mini resistance less generators can be made into the wheels so while the car is traveling it is also pumping juice into the batteries.
