Russians, Saudis Expect U.S. Attack On Iran

The US Congress, the US media, the American people, and the United Nations, are looking the other way as Cheney prepares his attack on Iran.

If only America had an independent media and an opposition party. If there were a shred of integrity left in American political life, perhaps a third act of naked aggression--a third war crime under the Nuremberg standard--by the Bush Regime could be prevented.

On March 30, the Russian News & Information Agency, Novosti, cited a high-ranking security source: "The latest military intelligence data point to heightened US military preparations for both an air and ground operation against Iran."

According to Novosti, Russian Colonel General Leonid Ivashov said "that the Pentagon is planning to deliver a massive air strike on Iran’s military infrastructure in the near future."

The chief of Russia’s general staff, Yuri Baluyevsky, said last November that Russia was beefing up its military in response to US aggression, but that the Russian military is not "obliged to defend the world from the evil Americans."

On March 29, OpEdNews cited a report by the Saudi Arabian newspaper Okaz, which was picked up by the German news service, DPA. The Saudi newspaper reported on March 22, the day following Cheney’s visit with the kingdom’s rulers, that the Saudi Shura Council is preparing "national plans to deal with any sudden nuclear and radioactive hazards that may affect the kingdom following experts’ warnings of possible attacks on Iran’s Bushehr nuclear reactors."

And Admiral William "there will be no attack on Iran on my watch" Fallon has been removed as US chief of Central Command, thus clearing the way for Cheney’s planned attack on Iran.

The Iranians don’t seem to believe it, despite the dispatch of US nuclear submarines and another aircraft carrier attack group to the Persian Gulf. To counter any Iranian missiles launched in response to an attack, the US is deploying anti-missile defenses to protect US bases and Saudi oil fields.

Two massive failures by the American media, the Democratic Party, and the American people have paved the way for Cheney’s long-planned attack on Iran. One failure is the lack of skepticism about the US government’s explanation of 9/11. The other failure is the Democrats’ refusal to begin impeachment proceedings against President Bush for lying to the Congress, the American people, and the world and launching an invasion of Iraq based on deception and fabricated evidence.

If an American president can start a war exactly as Adolf Hitler did with pure lies and not be held accountable, he can get away with anything. And Bush and his evil regime have.

Hitler launched World War II with his invasion of Poland after staging a "Polish attack" on a German radio station. On the night of August 31, 1939, a group of Nazis disguised in Polish uniforms seized a radio station in Germany. Hitler announced that "last night Polish troops crossed the frontier and attacked Germany," a claim no more true than the Bush Regime’s claim that "Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction." Hitler’s lie failed, because his invasion of Poland, which began the next day allegedly in reprisal for the Polish attack, had obviously been planned for many months.

Iran is a beautiful and developed country. It is an ancient civilization. It has attacked no one. Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty. Iran is permitted by the treaty to have a nuclear energy program. The Bush Regime’s case against Iran is based on the Bush Regime’s desire to deny Iran its rights under the treaty.

The International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors have repeatedly reported that they have found no evidence of an Iranian nuclear weapons program. Despite all the disinformation from US Gen. Petraeus and other Bush Regime military lackeys, Iran is not arming the Iraqis who are resisting the American occupation.

If Iran were arming insurgents, the insurgents would have two weapons that would neutralize the US advantage in the Iraqi conflict: missiles to knock down US helicopter gunships and rocket-propelled grenades that knock out American tanks. The insurgents do not have these weapons and must construct clumsy anti-tank weapons out of artillery shells. The insurgents are helpless against US air power and cannot mass forces to take on the American troops.

Indiscriminate American violence has reduced Iraq to rubble. The civilian infrastructure is essentially destroyed--electricity, water and sewer systems, medical care and schools. Depleted uranium is everywhere poisoning everyone, including US troops. There is no economy, and half or more of Iraqis are unemployed. Literally no Iraqi family has escaped an injury or a death as a consequence of the US invasion. Millions of Iraqis have become displaced persons. A developed country with a professional middle class has been destroyed because of lies told by the President and Vice President of the US. The Bush Regime’s lies are echoed by a neoconservative media, and have gone unchallenged by the opposition party and an indifferent American public.

In Afghanistan, death and destruction rains on even the smallest village from the air. America’s wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are wars against the civilian populations.

Readers, this is the type of article that needs to be spread widely. Click the link in the browser and email it to all your contacts. Ask them to forward as well.

Then, write a letter to the editor of your local papers. The media will not broadcast these concerns without pressure from the people. We need to force this into the national dialogue. Lives depend on it.

Mr MCurrently I'm a cartoonist and contributing writer for The New Orleans Levee.

We MUST STOP This Attack!

"If an American president can start a war exactly as Adolf Hitler did with pure lies and not be held accountable, he can get away with anything. And Bush and his evil regime have."

And that folks says it all.

When I tell people that we're going to attack Iran the typical response is denial, we' can't for this or that reason, all of which fail to take into account the reality that we are indeed making every preparation to do so.

Like hypnotized zombies MSM feeds us lies and ignores the Gates of Hell being shoved open by criminals that have been shown nothing but support for the crimes they've committed.

Why shouldn't cheney's "So?" comment also apply to Iran? When you get away with murdering 3,000 of your own citizens, destroy the very foundation of your own government, commit treason, torture, and use a false flag operation as a basis to launch two aggressive wars of genocide with not near so much as a threat of being held accountable why wouldn't these cretins continue to propel us into their hellish vision of a world at war? Who is going to stop them? Democrats? HA! Congress? Another HA! Courts? Please ... we have to get beyond thinking that anyone else but us are going to do anything.

Our government is gone, more an enemy of the people than anything else. Going to them for help is like having Jeffrey Dahmer fix you a meal. WE need to stop this. WE need to bring the wheels of war to a dead stop. We make the bombs, supply the soldiers and it is us who need to stop what we're doing that's enabling these Dogs of War. If we need to blockade weapons facilities - we must do it! If we need to block the dockside - we must do it! If we need to put our lives on the line - we must do it! For this I can promise you, if we do not stop this attack our lives won't be worth living.

If not you? Who?

If not now? When?

For what good it will do every effort must be made to stop them from launching this attack. I don't care whatever it is there is nothing more important than this. Nothing.

For when we attack count on everything to change rapidly and being caught flat-footed and unawares the American people are going to thrown into a world they never could have thought possible in a very short span of time. And I don't mean to sound mellow-dramatic saying this, for the repercussions of this will not be just another regional conflict and are far too numerous and horrifying to discuss here and in the end could very well spell the beginning of the end of our very species.

I don't know what we can do or how we can do it but every effort must be made now to stop this attack!

November 8, 2006

This is a picture I took the day after the 2006 elections. Some of us had this "crazy idea" (so we were told by passersby) that Bush and Cheney would launch an attack on Iran. We delivered a Do Not Attack Iran petition with 80,000 signatures to the White House. They weren't interested in receiving them and we tossed them over, through and under the gates. They were promptly swept up into large trash cans.  see picture

please keep the pressure on.

Bush and Cheney Act like Medieval Barons in Europe

Ignoring and trashing 80,000 petitions just highlights the contempt these hubris-driven fools have for American citizens. They treat our complaints, petitions and voices the same way barons and counts in Medieval Europe acted toward their serfs and peasants, with scorn and abuse, often with beatings thrown in for good measure, not to mention torture, which is now paralleled by the growing threat of torture from out of control police in our own sick, modern society.

They are already massively torturing the serfs and peasants in our "provinces", when not executing them wholesale. How much longer before they extend the same to us.

We are experiencing the extinquishment of all political, social and ethical progress made over hundreds of years, extending back even beyond the Enlightenment, in this country. We will be left, ultimately, with a sadistic death culture that even Medieval barons might blush if we do not confront and defeat our would-be masters.

Worst of all, this societal regression is totally counter the evolutionary stream for humanity, which is meant to progress to higher levels of consciousness, not lower levels. At some point Nature, which created our species to begin with, will step in to correct the perversion, and it will not be pretty.

We're part of a tiny minority.

Sometimes I forget that "we", i.e., those of us that see the horrific evil in our midst for what it is, are only a tiny fraction of the people in this country.

Small town America is still full of flag waving, see-no-evil blow-hards that need, want and deserve the government they have. No matter what happens, they will always support the state. Even as the Russian nuclear missiles are finally raining down, as they may one day soon, the flag wavers will still wave their flags and curse everybody else.

So please excuse my pessimism, but in light of this, technically speaking, what it would take to fix things in this country is not a mere revolt, but a Civil War between the morally incompetent, mentally defective majority, and people like "us".

In my view it's time to think about leaving this country. I'm just wondering if it's already too late.

Expect

As long as the general populace support the egregious policies of the Bush Administration nothing will stop them. The point is of course that no matter what you think, blowback happens and the blowback from attacking Iran will eclipse significantly any problems occasioned by the war on Iraq. Ordinary Americans could be negatively affected in ways you cannot even imagine. All of the various wars started by the U.S. since WWII have had significant effects that touched some of the population of the U.S.  but believe me nothing can prepare people for what can happen to them individually if Iran is attacked. Consider the potential for the total loss of the American military in Iraq, for the loss of oil exports from the Middle East, for the very real onset of a deep world wide economic depression, for the curtailment of travel both within the U.S. and outside due to fear of deadly reprisals and for the lack of aviation fuel, the imposition of a form of martial law(to protect Americans of course), the real possibility of suicide attacks within the U.S. It goes on and on and for what, to satisfy a couple of vampire elites Bush and Cheney? Excuse me while I regurgitate my lunch.

I'm alerting friends & local media. Will awakening occur?

http://www.ki4u.com/guide.htm

Please see the above site for nuclear war preparation. This is necessary because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has just warned its citizens about how to protect themselves from fallout click here which means an attack on Iran by the United States is probably imminent, as of the end of March 2008. There will probably be a 24 to 72 hour window between an attack in the Middle East and the continental United States, either by domestic or foreign terrorists (small radioactive bombs, 9/11 style suicidal airplane attacks) or the Russian Federation or China (use of strategic nuclear weapons).

I am available as a speaker, having studied and written about national security subjects in plays and articles for many years, and believe very strongly that this is the time to squarely face the danger we are in.

Please email or call.

Most warmly,

Dr. Kari Ann Owen, Ph.D.

No responses yet from local media, but I will keep trying. Last autumn I had an audience with a congressional aide concerning this subject, and the lady was stricken when I read from my brief position paper what would happen here in the San Francisco Bay Area if nuclear strikes occurred. I told her I would not leave her office until she faxed my position paper to the congressman with a priority heading, which she did.

This is a horrifying sequence of events, and all of you have my support as we face these dreadful realities.

Warmly,

Kari Ann Owen

Attack on Iran

well we know now that Washington is pure bull-crap. anybody with a brain should know thata attack on Iraq will bring Russia, and China with North Korea in a war against America.one thing for sure Washington will be blowen off the map. we dont care about Washington. but we care about our LIVES and the rest of this country. a world war III will  see millions of people die. and world hunger. the ELITE like bush and cheney will flee to another country. unless some one gets them. the only way to stop a attack on Iran is a rebellion. BUT MOST OF AMERICA PUT'S THERE TAIL BETWEEN THERE LEGS, WHEN YOU MENTION REBELLION. WAKE UP PEOPLE THIS IS REAL. your life and mine depends on action to stop these LUNITICS.

vincent is right

a person who lives in the usa-does know he is a part in all these wars-and are just as guilty as the presadent if he does not voice an objection to these things--and a person also knows if the objections are not heard and followed by our gov. that the people have a right to fight with any means they have--we have done this succesfully in the past and can do it again-a complete purging of our gov. is needed--watch the skiies this spring-and get ready for the wildest ride of your lives  ps thank all the indepent truckers who strike starting today -for they have courage enough to actually do something----stay home on the 4th of july--spend nothing -strike peaceable -or go celebrate your freadom u think you have -i- will not
