Hello friends
Bill Douglas's wonderful article titled The Media Hounds Unleashed on Ron Paul -- How the CIA Will Use Liberals to Destroy the Anti-Empire Candidate
inspired me to want to write a brief jot about the use of wordsmithing in politics.
Politicians know that Americans don't like to read long articles, many don't like to think and prefer to watch the games, etc. So to get their message out, they use word phrases to catch our attention and appeal to our mindsets.
They use National Enquirer-type gossip smears to shoot other politicians down and ruin their careers. And they know that planting seeds of just words----no facts, just words and images----is what works with the simple-minded American cross-sectors.
I confess to knowing absolutely not a single thing about wordsmithing, except THAT it is used.
But that is all I have needed to know. Knowledge is power: Once a brilliant activist tipped me off to this, I began to see through it all.
I suggest that knowledge of this fact is key to dismantling the powers of the higher-ups. No matter what they do and no matter what they say, they will lose power as more and more Americans find out even only the very fact that this technique is used, even if we know nothing more about the intricacies of those techniques.
To know more about those intricacies, it might not even be a bad idea for everyone on this forum to purchase a copy of Cracking the Code from Opednews.
We are powerless over other peoples' mouths and actions, but we do have power over what we do with the information we are fed. And we certainly do have power to spread word. Once we accept the fact that we have little or no power to stop politicians from their nasty games, the truth is that our own power becomes even greater than before. Because the solution is just brilliantly simple: It starts from within. Don't believe everything you hear. Be aware of images being deliberately fed into your brains (ie "Kucinich will not win" "Governor Moonbeam" "War on Terror" etc).
It all would seem to be a marketing game. That's the gyst of it.
Please let's take it as our personal responsibility to spread word. If we want to see an end to American fascism, maybe the solutions are simpler than we think. It all starts with wordsmithing: The War On Terror may be renamed The War OF Terror, etc......
Thank you all. Our key to dismantling their power is within. Think globally: Act locally. Simple. Easy. Done.
