Do You Think?

Do you think
When an American Soldier
And an Iraqi Insurgent
Die in Iraq
That They meet in the Spirit?

Do you think
That they continue fighting
In Spirit form
Until one or the other
Completely disappears?

Or

Do you think
That they realize
Their Spiritual connection
Shake hands
And move, on-high, together?

And

Do you think
That the civilians
That are killed
Weep and wander
In a dark, Iraqi, netherworld?

Or

Do you think
That they rejoice
At being re-united
With the Spirit
From whence they came?

Do you think
That all the dead
Wander the streets
Wailing and crying out
Bemoaning their cruel fate?

Or

Do you think
That they, both Iraqi and American,
Are working very hard
To end the folly of their human brethren
Who continue to fight in physical form?

Do you think?

Do You Think

That these 40,000 or so, nuclear weapons, have our name on them?

I'm a psychotherapist who woke up to politics when my only child was born 5 days after 911.
Steve ShermanI'm a psychotherapist who woke up to politics when my only child was born 5 days after 911.

It isn't possible to do so

I thought I thought, until Dick Cheney declared that there was no "I" in "think".  It turned out that you, me, and everyone else are but a nano-figment, a neural brain fart "if you will" within a Dick Cheney dream.

Did you ever try to wake up from a nightmare, but couldn't, because Dick wasn't finished sawing his quota of logs for the night?  You may have thought you woke up, until you realized there was nothing but Dick!

When the master of all being says nuke, we nuke.  If Dick says disappear, we disappear.  There never really was a Bush or a Constitution.  There is no peace, love, truth, or we the people, except during those rare fleeting disturbing nightmares that occur when He is sleeping.

Let me try the classic reality check:

I think...therefore I am.  Naw, that ain't Dick

I let others do my thinking for me...therefore I am...not.  Yeah, that feels much better.  Or at least it's not so scary.

I like your message

Very profound and unfortunately radical in today's world. Namaste.
