Are you willing or ready to help save this nation?

Even Zbigniew Brzezinski is appalled at what has happened to us. The title alone of his recent Washington Post article "Terrorized by 'War on Terror': How a Three-Word Mantra Has Undermined America" says the words our Democrats in Congress have yet to mouth. "Where is the U.S. leader ready to say, "Enough of this hysteria, stop this paranoia?" he asks further.

American historian Howard Zinn in a recent article "Are We Politicians or Citizens" questions any support for Congressional Democrats' tepid half-measures quite succinctly:

"Would you give a thug who invaded your house, smashed everything in sight, and terrorized your children a timetable for withdrawal?"

It is time to stop the pillaging of our land, to remove the weapons from the bullies, and start to set things straight.

The FIGHT for AMERICA is HERE (not "over there" somewhere) and it is NOW!! Snarling Dickie lies every time he quivers his lip to get drum up special interest support for his maniacal fantasy.

<> Not ONE of them could answer the question (publicly at least) of WHY we are there and what "winning" or "victory" would mean. And WHERE is ONE serious reporter to ASK them?? How they demean every man, womon, and child of us! Day after day.

WE know what their "victory"means -- but they'll never say it out loud: it is contolling energy resources, supply and prices throughout the region and in order to pull this off, they -- THEY (not us) -- need the troops and the private tax-paid mercenaries they own to keep up the infrastructure of the bases and the spy-center called the new Iraqi Embassy! That's why they want to stay; but they'll never say that out loud. You can see it through the cracks, however, if you look. The rest? Well, BS is too kind an image.

We, the CITIZENS of the US, only come into the picture because they need the steady supply of bodies, and dollars that the American population gives. And they're working to get rid of THAT as well. The privatization of war, the black budgets and missing funds which supply an ever-growing private mercenary army, will one day replace the need for US altogether.

In fact, with all these tax breaks, not to mention cronyinsm and corporate welfare, the war profiteer class has been pulling out their investments in America for YEARS. No wonder there is little healthcare, New Orleans dies, and schools scratch for paper.

Exactly WHOSE security are they protecting? Certainly, CERTAINLY not yours, mine, nor the Iraqis. How did they sell us this Snake Oil? And why are the Democrats still drinking it??

Zinn is, of course, correct when he speaks about the Soul of America. It is the People who must push this timid Congress to act and stop the rape of our nation, its laws and its Constitution. It is way past time to denounce the mafioso-style usurpers OCCUPYING our highest offices, scoffing at our laws, draining its Treasury and sending its less fortunate children off to die for a lie.

To the phony, self-interested "supporters" and Enablers of the fanatical BushCo regime: None of your analyses or arguments hold any water. You are nothing but collaborators in the destruction of the American experiment in democratic self-governance. Of Governance and Democracy, you know nothing. Only the "SELF" part.

Read both Brezhinski's and Zinn's articles, and look at it all, close up, right in our faces. We must do something to end this nightmare and seek to move in the direction of law and justice and democracy HERE.

If we don't stop these people, and don't try to impeach them now, win or lose, it will take GENERATIONS (if ever) to regain enough self-respect in this nation to have an honorable place in the world.

Are you ready to take a stand?

Not only willing, I have been Doing Something

Before 9/11, I did not give too much thought for another beyond my rural community. I was apolitical, thought the world had already gone mad and there was nothing much anyone could do or say to change it. I lived a simple contended life in the rural South and have always been grateful to be an American.

But after 9/11, I wanted to learn why did a few-and back then it was but a few-people in the world hated Americans so much that they could cold bloodedly murder innocent people.

I also wanted to do some good in the world and that lead me to the Interfaith Olive Trees Foundation for Peace http://www.olivetreesfoundation.org which has raised awareness and the funds to provide over 31,000 olive trees planted in peace in Israel Palestine to help replace the over one million The Wall has destroyed.

Because the USA MSM does NOT report the facts on the ground in the occupied territories, I have gone four times to Israel Palestine since June 2005 to bear witness and report the truth.

St. Augustine penned: "HOPE has two children. The first is ANGER at the way things are. The second is COURAGE to DO SOMETHING about it.

Education is The Way to Compassion; and Compassion is The Way to Change. And so, I  have researched, studied and I write.

I entitled my second book;

Memoirs of a Nice Irish American Girl’s Life in Occupied Territory: Third Intifada/Uprising: Nonviolent, But with Words Sharper than a Two-Edged Sword,

Because the following words ran through my head all during my fourth journey to Palestine in November 2006

“The word of God is living and active. Sharper than a two-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him whom we must give account.”- Hebrews 4:12-13
