Kucinich Out of Debate

The Nevada Supreme court decided that Dennis Kucinich would NOT be allowed to participate in tonight's debate. Shame on NBC. Then again, they did it to Mike Gravel last year. We could have seen this coming. Congress should legislate on this and require that legitimate candidates be allowed to participate.

Michigan Returns; Romney wins

With 89% of returns in, Romney came in first, wih 39% McCain 2nd, with 30%, Huckabee third, 16% with Ron Paul, pulling 6%, beating Thompson 4% and Giuilani 3%. Of course, only Clinton was on the ballot, since  the DNC pulled all the delegates from Michigan for scheduling  their primary too early.

This was not good for Edwards who was pushing the message that he is the only Dem who beats McCain.  If McCain had won, it would have boosted Edwards' credentials.

Some pundits suggested that a win in Michigan was essential for Romney, whose father was governor there, 40 years ago.
