Keep the Indictment handy
If and when the military decides to move in a new direction, it could provide the boilerplate necessary to make a lawful arrest. by Patrick (0 articles, 0 quicklinks, 0 diaries, 519 comments [22 recommended, 0 rejected]) on Saturday, Oct 25, 2008 at 12:20:36 PM

A perspective
In the meaningful prosecution of the criminal Bush and his band of thugs, I can think of no more important issue facing the future of democracy. Wait, getting to the bottom of the 911 attacks, too. And, of course, the deliberate camapign of lies that tied the 911 attacks to Iraq - and the subsequent industrialized murder that ensued. Well, outing the people/mechanisms that lead to the unprecedented finacial disaster that was ostensibly unforeseen. And, of course, open, meaningful discourse about AIPAC's ability to hijack the American body politic. Then the destruction of the US constitution, signing orders and presidential directives. Don't forget the so-called "Russian aggression" into Georgia, which was, in fact, a US instigated conflict. For the sake of democracy, shouldn't we get to the root causes of the news media's partnership with government institutional propaganda mechanisms? And the illusion of "elections" to pacify the American public in the belief that we have a voice in our governance should be addressed. But Bush, Cheney and their band of willing co-conspirators in a duly assembled court of law is a perfect step in the right direction. And a pig wearing lipstick just flew by. by Michael McCoy (7 articles, 1 quicklinks, 2 diaries, 487 comments [26 recommended, 0 rejected]) on Saturday, Oct 25, 2008 at 5:31:02 PM
