Cops are murdering unarmed civilians, war crimes and crimes against humanity are never prosecuted, election theft is now the U.S. norm, millions of U.S citizens are homeless and starving to death, millions die from environmental toxins, the courts utterly ignore the constitution and all of its provisions. Why any person would want to live in such a country defies logic, since living inside a system this corrupt is suicide, both economically and physically.
What this means in the big picture is that there is no longer any rule of law in the United States. All illegal activity (conducted by the wealthy, by US corporations, and by US police forces) has been declared legal - all corruption, insider trading, graft, bribery, grand theft, perjury, tax evasion, enslavement of workers, mass murder by environmental toxins, election theft, search and seizure without cause or justification, indefinite detention - nothing will be prosecuted, meaning that the rule of law in the U.S. no longer exists. The US is a morally and financially bankrupt cesspool of corruption, where the rich steal from the poor and the human life of the not wealthy has no value and will not be protected. When a cop murders your seven-year-old son for shooting a water pistol, he will not be prosecuted and his murder will not be avenged. "Elections" in the United States are the laughing stock of the world. The 2014 election was stolen by hundreds of illegal acts executed by Republican governors and secretaries of state (see here and here), while the losers sat silently and collected their share of the bribe money. So maybe for the 2016 election Adelson and the Kochs will adopt the Kiev model: murder the opposition with death squads - rape, torture and slaughter any person not likely to vote for corporate government (see here). The United States is so degraded that reform or modification is no longer possible, and the present system cannot be salvaged. The only options now available are revolt or exile. If you don't believe that you can survive revolt, then leave - while you still can.
The nations left on earth where the governments still respond to the will of the people are few. I will list them for those of you who have reached your breaking point. Iceland, Norway, Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Finland, and Russia. (Street crime in Venezuela is serious, so factor that in). If you are a billionaire you could live peacefully in Switzerland, but I am not writing this for billionaires. I cannot think of another to add to that list. Most other nations are signing on to the so-called trade pacts (see here and here)that allow corporations to supersede all national laws and constitutional protections, rendering all of participating countries fascist dictatorships in short order. The people of Ireland, Spain, Italy, and France are fighting back with strikes and protests, but they are so outgunned and marginalized by their Goldman Sachs-appointed presidents and EU officials that it is unlikely that they will succeed in saving themselves. Stick with the short list if you are ready to expatriate. If you want to stay here and duke it out, then organize for a general strike, a global boycott and a move to evict the entire US government - all three hopelessly corrupt branches of it . There is really nothing in between.
