It is amazing how many Americans criticize the action of the Muslim who threw his shoes at the personification of lying treachery when we should in fact commend him for displaying courage literally to the face of slaughterous power. One or more of the following honors should be considered:

The Mercury Winged Foot Award

The Cy Young Award (year's best pitcher)

A shoe-in for the Nobel Peace Prize

The Shoe Fly Pie in the Eye Award

The Puss 'n Bo....er....Boots 'n Puss Award

The Action Example to UFP&J Award

The Florsheim Lifetime Shoe Supply Award

Plus an ample supply of Wolverine steel tipped heavy duty construction boots, size 13 1/2 to re-load his arsenal.

And we should certainly have the authentic missiled shoes bronzed and placed on a pedestal in the well of the Senate to remind Republican senators what integrity is, and their Democratic stooge colleagues what courage is. Further, we should give thanks to Allah for the commendable action of his son as we Christians prepare for the natal celebration of our Prince of Peace.
