FOX and OTHER FICTIONAL BUT FIENDISH PROPAGANDA

This past weekend I received several Right-Wing-Conservative-Spin out-right-lies or propaganda emails. Some have been floating for almost a decade on the web and doing the email circuit too rapidly. One of the pieces was the so-called: "German View of Islam", which is revealed as fiction here.
That article (supposedly from Germany) has been passed on and posted on hundreds of websites and emails as election 2010 comes into place.
I responded to that piece by noting in my own emails to friends and family:
There are grains of truth in here[ in the letter entitled "German View of Islam"], but the concentration camps in the Muslim world are often in Palestine and neighboring states--and have been for generations. This call for Islamic Religious-Pride-Above-All is simply how "the ARAB NATIONALISM , COMMUNISM" and other "-Isms" were replaced by an Islamic facade at this point in history for many---a VERY LOUD MINORITY WITH A LOT OF CLOUT.
The same thing has happened in Americawhere a single Australian--named Rupert Murdoch was allowed in to buy out and take over our media left-and-right. Murdoch not-only-owns FOX News but billions of dollars worth of other media from Britain to New York to the West Coast and back to Asia .
No wonder FOX News took the country to the totally unnecessary war in Iraq in 2003.
Too many Americans at this time in history are looking to replace the bad political economic development of the past 5 presidents (or more) with PRIDE-IN-AMERICA-ABOVE-ALL instead of using COMMON SENSE, i.e. in order to make more friends than enemies.--KAS

Interestingly, the same day I wrote that email, I received this letter from some Democrats. [NOTE: I am not a lifetime Democrat. I am a progressive.]

A handful of powerful rightwing billionaires are trying to buy Congress. Who will stop them?
The Corporate Media won't. The most powerful man in Corporate Media - FOX chairman Rupert Murdoch (right) - is also the most powerful rightwing billionaire. First he turned FOX into 24x7x365 rightwing Republican propaganda. Then he hired the top Republicans like Karl Rove and Sarah Palin as "analysts." Then he used his hosts to raise millions for Republicans, both on-air and at their fundraisers. Then he gave millions directly to Republicans, both from his corporation and from his own pocket.
What about the rest of the Corporate Media? Last week ABC hired Andrew Breitbart - the video liar most infamous for the vicious Shirley Sherrod and ACORN smears - for Election Night coverage. Not one single "journalist" at ABC objected.
