DrudgeReport.com has a poll running that has over 600,000 votes cast at the time of this writing. Keep in mind that most of the polls we see are based on 450 to 1500 people. It's not a scientific sample. But DrudgeReport is the most popular site for conservatives.
The poll shows that Donald Trump crushed the competition, pulling 53 percent of the votes.
Carly Fiorina came in a distant second with 21 percent.
Cruz and Rubio each pulled 6 percent
Rand Paul pulled four percent-- a jump for him.
Ben Carson pulled 4 percent-- with a few thousand less votes than Rand Paul-- a real drop from his previous poll position.
The big losers were the five candidates who pulled one percent or less:
Bush, Christie, Kasich, with Walker, and Huckabee pulling under one percent.
The TV pundits have been saying the winner was Carly Fiorina. it doesn't look that way from here. It looks like the pundits are promoting their favorites.
It will be interesting to see what the "scientific polls" with their 450-to 1500 poll participants show.
