Who would you rather have in terms of keeping corrupt people out of government?

Which candidate would be more likely to say or do things to embarass or shame Americans, Hillary or Rudy?

As my readers know, I'm no great Hillary fan. She's way too conservative for me. Gut I'd still take her over Giuiliani in a heartbeat.

Now, when it comes to Smerconish's question, I'd take any Dem. I think Giuiliani would bomb at the slightest excuse, or at the prompting of the most hawkish military advisor. I think Hillary or Edwards, Dodd, Obama, Kucinich-- any of the Dems would make sure they knew what the scenario would look like, best and worst case, after any actions. And I think they'd be sure to cover all the bases. Bush totally failed at doing that. Giuliani would be worse. He didn't even replace the radios that didn't work for emergency workers in the 1993 WTC bombing, so a lot of heroes died unneccessarily on 9/11, all because Giuliani didn't follow through and do his job.

Giuliani may actually be THE answer... for lots of questions. Like:
Who would screw up a war the worst?
Who would be most likely to appoint corrupt incompetents, like Bush did (among the republican candidates?)
Who would set the absolute worst family values example?

There we go, some solid questions with Rudi as the best answer.

Care to ask any of them, Michael?
BTW, we both frequent the Doylestown bookstore. We should discuss this over a beer or coffee.

A few declarations.
-While I'm registered as a Democrat, I consider myself to be a dynamic critic of the Democratic party, just as, well, not quite as much, but almost as much as I am a critic of republicans.
