I'll do my best to unseat the Republican Congress, but I gotta tell ya, I don't think that's anything more than a band aid on a slash to the jugular. It's not a matter of "Republicans bad", Democrats good". It's way beyond that. It's the System that needs an overhaul. Top to bottom.
Let's face it. We have let far too many things slide by: JFK, the Gulf of Tonkin, Bobby and Martin Luther King. Malcolm X. George Wallace. The Liberty. Desert Storm. Yea, we stand up, make a stand and we're ignored, discarded, labeled "conspiracy theorists" and "un-patriotic", and we shrink away to the safety of those who agree with us. We banter and rage in the privacy of our homes or around our backyard BBQ's, but nothing is done, nothing accomplished, and we continue to lose ground. Sadly, under the Bush Regime, we're close to losing it all, and we don't know where to turn.
9/11 was a calculated mass murder of Americans to justify the War On Terror, the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, the establishment of 14 permanent military bases in Iraq, the Detainee Bill, the trashing of habeas corpus, the violation of our rights and civil liberties.
I'm sorry. There were no heroes on 911 only Victims.
I apologize to the families of the 343 New York firemen who lost their lives, but they were sacrificed for the needs of the few.
I apologize to the families of those people on Flight 77, but that plane did not hit the Pentagon.
I apologize to the families of those on Flight 93, but you cannot bury a Boeing 757 in a 10x15 foot hole.
I apologize to all those who lost loved ones in the Twin Towers, but they were brought down by planted explosives, and those explosives were not planted by a rag-tag bunch of Islamic fundamentalists. They were planted by factions of our own government, to accomplish their own desires and their own needs.
Ground Zero is a crime scene, desecrated and compromised by members of our own government, as were the Pentagon and Shanksville, PA. Everything was taken from us in a moment of confused rage.
It's time to take it back with a Vengeance!
Get through the formalities of November 7, 2006, but know they are merely formalities. The Truth can bring down a government, and we must ask of ourselves, "is it worth it?".
If your answer is "no", then you should step aside because if we fail to bring the perpetrators of these deeds to justice, we have surrendered our right to be Americans.
