Well, Dont Ask, Don't Tell was a small step forward but surely a compromise with the onward Christian soldier types we see at the top of the military hierarchy - i.e., the ones that believe in Armageddon, the in-errancy of the Bible, and the religious war concept - which is now badly backfiring and bogging us down in Islamic countries and wrapping us in a phony war on terrorism.
So what's th esolution. Well, let gays have the same right to kill and main as straight soldiers. Let them have the same right to fight phony wars of choice and push buttons in Texas launching our drone missiles thousand of miles away. Fair is fair, after all, so let there be no discrimination against our gay citizens. And let the military brass relent like that angry male sky god did after having his butt verbally kicked by a sly Rabbi.
