Dominique Strauss Kahn was an unusual choice for head of the IMF, but his re-structuring of the world's monetary guardian organization drew considerable praise from many sides. The rape allegations against him however now jeapordize direly needed negotiations to stabilize the EURO, which is under attack by reckless international speculators. Strauss Kahn, who intended to run for president in France, has many powerful enemies, and rumors state that Sarkozy warned him to 'never ride alone with a woman in an elevator again.'
