President Obama reportedly irked the FBI by suggesting Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server is, “not a situation in which America’s national security was endangered.” Several current and former FBI agents consider this assertion inappropriate at best, according to reports. Ron Hosko, a former FBI official, said the president should refrain from telling investigators what side he’s on.
“Injecting politics into what is supposed to be a fact-finding inquiry leaves a foul taste in the F.B.I.’s mouth,” Hosko said.
