Doctors: Giffords improves after brain fluid buildup

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' condition is improving at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, but officials at the Houston hospital did not provide any updates on the building of fluid in her brain, according to a statement issued on Sunday afternoon. On Saturday, one of her doctors said a buildup of fluid in Giffords' brain likely will keep her in intensive care until at least the end of this week, delaying the start of full-fledged rehabilitation.
