Remember, Kerry only had 15% going into Iowa. Paul is on track to be the top Republican fundraiser this quarter. Who knows? How would the dem candidates line up against a populist Republican candidate?

::::::::

Of course, pollsters have not been asking this question.  Paul is enough of an "outsider" that he might just be what all those voters who are unhappy with both the dems and the republicans running congress are looking for.

If he starts taking the lead on the Republican side, which Dem candidate would do best running against him?

Of course, there are a lot of dems who are seeing Ron Paul as the solution, especially if a republican look-alike like Hillary wins the Dem primary.

What do you think?  I think that the current Dem crop would have a hard time going up against Ron Paul.
