Here it is; Opednews making a major difference: We know we make a difference. Here's a personal report.

They are grateful to find that someone cares, having been classified as worthless, and only a number.  Because of your work exposing medical abuse in particular, I am confident that one prisoner's life has been prolonged and others are beginning to receive or have been promised urgently-needed treatment.  But I'm afraid it may be too late for another one.  After reading the last article, he had approached Gary to have us tell his story, but then was removed from the prison and sent to the community hospital, with the prisoners having been told he is not expected to live.  It is tragic, reminding me of the starfish story, where they are all just dying on the beach.  But these are human beings suffering and dying because of abuse in American prisons, while most of us remain oblivious or look the other way.  Thank you for helping to open eyes and hearts.
