Are Mainstream Media Covering 21st Century Freedom Riders Fighting For Health Care Civil Rights & Ending Wars
By Rob Kall
The mainstream media went crazy covering the teabaggers and noisemakers at town halls. They SHOULD be covering protests against the war and protests FOR health care as a civil right too.

What kind of TV news coverage are you seeing for the protest arrests? If you're not among those who received my email and you've been arrested as a protester, please add a comment about your experience.
Are the MSNBC people covering them, tying them to the conversation on the wars or healthcare?
We should start working in a targeted way at getting Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Dylan Ratigan and Keith Olbermann to start covering the rise in civil disobedience, get the idea out that there is a new wave of freedom riders fighting for peace and health care for all.
I haven't heard these supposed left wing news reporters talk about the protests and arrests. We need to get them to see that showing YOUR protests is a major part of pushing the legislators.
We need to start writing about these anchors, in particular, not criticizing, but rather, cajoling them to be sure to let the world know that people are taking risks, making sacrifices.
It's really important not to attack them, but to mention them, to let them know the potential importance of their mentioning these protests and arrests.
There should be a daily count of protesters arrested, where and what for.
The failure of the Obama Administration to remove the Bush appointed DOJ attorneys after 10 months should also be addressed daily. These are the rogue criminals who engaged in prosecutorial misconduct, going after Don Siegelman and Cyril Wecht, to name just two of hundreds. These prosecutors, left unpunished, will work with police in the future to abuse the constitution when it comes to protesters.
So, my question is, are the MSNBC anchors covering the arrests. Did I miss something? Let's get a campaign going to have them cover these arrests. That effort will make a massive difference in the effectiveness of the protests.
Actually, I'm posting this as an article. Please pass this email along to other protesters who've been arrested and the organizations they are associated with and ask them to comment on the article.

Rob began his Bottom-up Radio show, broadcast on WNJC 1360 AM to Metro Philly, also available on iTunes, covering the transition of our culture, business and world from predominantly Top-down (hierarchical, centralized, authoritarian, patriarchal, big) to bottom-up (egalitarian, local, interdependent, grassroots, archetypal feminine and small.) Recent long-term projects include a book, Bottom-up-- The Connection Revolution, debillionairizing the planet and the Psychopathy Defense and Optimization Project.
