There is no human being, since Hitler, who has been as bad for the Jewish people and Israel as Benjamin Netanyahu. Hitler was horrible, killing tens of millions, and Netanyahu has only genocidally killed 30,000-50,000 women and children so far, that we know of. That is enough, in these times, to make him and Israel a pariah state. Netanyahu and his government have massively damaged Israel's reputation and level of respect in the world.

As the world's Jewish state, Israel has tarnished the image of every jew on the planet and raised the level of enmity people feel towards Jews, even if many of them are as outraged about Netanyahu's and Israel's behavior as most of the world. This has led to a real increase in antisemitism, as well as the fake increase that pro-Israel operatives, such as the ADL and AIPAC, who have been working to redefine anti-semitism to include criticism of Israel.

If you are angry at Jews for what's happening in Gaza, you're making a mistake. Be angry at Israel, be angry at Jews who defend what Israel is perpetrating, but remember that there are many Jews who are outraged, disgusted and ashamed by what Israel is doing under Netanyahu's command.

If you are a Jewish American, as I am, then you have a responsibility to speak out and make it clear to the Biden leadership and your elected officials, that you do not support what Israel is doing in Gaza. I believe that most Jews were outraged and shocked by what Hamas did. But that does not mean that Israel has the right to do what it has been doing. That approach is not working. I don't have an answer as to what to do, but I know that what is being done is wrong and must stop.

And remember that they people keeping Netanyahu in power are fundamentalist, ultr-orthodox Haredim-- Jews who consider most American Jews to not be Jews, who are actually anti-Semitic towards non-orthodox Jews.
