Beto Explains His Non-Corrupted Practices, Ethics & Solutions; Joe Kennedy III Campaigns for Him; Texas Voters Purged
By Stephen Fox
Beto's integrity and intelligence shine through in this video, which every one in Texas should see before voting. Help by sharing it widely to Texas friends, Facebook groups, and colleagues. Voters are being purged illegally; Ring of Fire article mentioned is thorough, plus select revealing and incisive comments on the YouTube video, Can Small-Donor Progressives Win? These donors have given Beto a Senate record $38 million!
::::::::
I recently found an astonishingly brilliant video interview with Beto talking with Ryan Grim, The Intercept's DC Bureau Chief. It runs 65 minutes, and goes into some sterling humor and ultra-clear insights about what Beto and his reforms are all about. Only 62,280 people have viewed it since March 2018, and if you take the time to share it with Facebook groups, friends, family, and everyone you know in Texas, up to 28 million Texans could and should see this. At the end of the video, it is perfectly clear just how much of an improvement Beto would be over the moribund and quite boring Ted Cruz.
Beto O'Rourke | Can Small-Donor Progressives Win Local Elections? | SXSW 2018
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnZ8y0q2C5Q
From the description on YouTube: Bernie Sanders showed that big money isn't needed to run a presidential campaign, changing the national calculus. But can the same be done in Texas? Will 2018 be the year small dollars make the difference at the local level? Join us for a candid conversation between Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, who is running against Ted Cruz for Senate and Ryan Grim, The Intercept's DC Bureau Chief.
About SXSW:
Started in 1987, South by Southwest (SXSW) is a set of film, interactive, and music festivals and conferences that take place early each year in mid-March in Austin, Texas. SXSW's original goal was to create an event that would act as a tool for creative people and the companies they work with to develop their careers, to bring together people from a wide area to meet and share ideas. That continues to be the goal today whether it is music, film or interactive technologies.

Texas Illegally Purges Thousands Of Voters To Help Ted Cruz Win Re-Election
.youtube.com/watch?v=zybDczoolwc
from Stephen Fox: Related things happened in NY State during the 2016 primary when 1/3 million votes were purged. I personally created a Moveon.org petition asking the NY Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, to go into federal court to get a court order for a brand new repeat of the primary (in others words, the only way to fix it was to do it over), and 7200 people signed, including 4000 rather angry New Yorkers. He ignored it entirely, and my New Yorker friends explained that that was because he was in Hillary's back pocket, but they must not have known about his penchant for slapping around and role playing his little brown Sri Lankan sex toy, which led to him resigning about two hours after the New Yorker broke the story.
The Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, although under Federal Indictment for Securities Fraud, at least goes to church (Prestonwood Baptist Church in McKinney Texas), but we can be very certain that he won't do anything about the purged voters (because he is part of the problem in Texas, and not the solution, not at all).
The Ring of Fire article goes into more details, by Farron Cousins, October 9, 2018
Ring of Fire is a left-wing syndicated American talk radio program hosted by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Mike Papantonio, Sam Seder, and Farron Cousins.

From Joe Kennedy III:
I'm proud -- and excited! -- to be back in Texas, fighting the good fight for my friend Beto. After spending time with Beto and thousands of fired-up Texans in Corpus Christi, Harlingen and McAllen, it's never been more clear to me: Beto is the senator that Texas deserves.
That's why I'm writing to you today: I'm calling on you to dig deep and support Beto's campaign. Every dollar goes towards powering this campaign to victory on November 6.
Texas is near and dear to my heart. I'll never forget barnstorming the state with my uncle, Senator Ted Kennedy, campaigning for Barack Obama in 2008. We finished up late one night at a hall in Laredo, with only a handful of voters left to meet with us. Uncle Teddy didn't blink. Without missing a beat, he got behind the mic, raised his hands, and belted out "Ay Jalisco No Te Rajes" in his booming Boston accent. The crowd went crazy for the old ranchero song and the Massachusetts mariachi who sang it.
As we march forward, our nation will look to Texas. But this isn't going to be an easy one to win: Beto's not just up against Ted Cruz: he's up against at least eleven outside groups that are spending big to tip the scales. It's a challenge, for sure -- but it's a challenge Texans have met head-on. I've seen so many impassioned volunteers and incredible supporters working around the clock to help get Beto to the Senate.
Can you help Beto fight back against the super PAC attacks coming his way with a contribution today? With your support, I know Beto can win on November 6.
Joe Kennedy III

Some of the YouTube comments on the video are revealing and insightful; some are quite stupid and so illogical as to be hilarious; I have left all of these comments unedited for grammar and spelling (have you ever noticed how the most vitriolic of the conservative commentaries almost always come from some person using a fictitious name?)

We need the Latinos in Texas to come out and vote for this guy! The young people, and all democrats need to come out and vote for this guy, then he will win. Corrupt Ted Cruz will lose this time.

Just put Beto and Ted in a debate, not only would Beto win on the issues, his voice is so soothing and strong and Ted sounds like a squeaky little pig.

Go Beto! Can't wait to vote for you again in November! Texans, Trump only won this state by a measly 9 pts! If Alabama can elect a democrat after he won that state by double digits, then we can certainly turn out and vote charlatan Raphael out of office! Easy as pie :)

Everyone needs to understand what Congress really does to gain PAC & special interests donations and how it really buys political favor over constituents.

A million thanks to my friend who sent me the link to this video! I am so excited by Beto's message which is not only educational with regards to how the system works, but offers a forward thinking path to real democracy with honesty, integrity and core values as a foundation for representing all people. We, the people, need real representation and to approach what we do from a human perspective rather than a political party affiliation perspective will break down barriers that keep us divided and fearful of one another. It is encouraging to see that small donor donations are impactful. Yet, overturning Citizens United is critical. Big money in politics is corrupting.

The description Beto gives about how corporations court politicians ~ 8:00 sounds exactly like how the mafia would feel someone out to see if they're worth making some kind of criminal offer to.

Interesting candidate. Has the drive. Populist orientation. Outed the DCCC as ultimately ineffective, something I agree with, legalizing marijuana to remove revenue from drug cartels, Medicare for All. Decent center left candidate.

I am from Arlington, Tx and it is a very Red city. I live in the more affluent and new part of Arlington near Rangers Ball Park. What he said about Arlington was strikingly true. He has had my vote since I found out that he was going county by county talking to the people. Beto is truly caring about the State of Texas who he wants to represent.

Ryan thank you so much for this video. And thanks to Beto for letting us know the overwhelming extent of how the Big Money seduces congressmen with the complicity of the parties in congress. I didn't realize how it was almost inescapable....but glad he managed to avoid it. Go Beto!

Fantastic to see someone in Congress speak honestly about the financial racket that Congress has become. Listening to the finer details, I can't help but think it's even worse than I'd thought. Can't wait to see him sworn into the Senate!!

Can grassroots progressives win local elections? Well, we'll never find out if we don't try, will we? Honestly, I think it'll be easier on a local level, so long as our candidates, Republican or Democrat, are bold. We need a wave of young politicians that have broad appeal to diverse districts. That isn't that difficult, honestly, because Americans aren't as divided in issues of opinion as it seems. Even in states like Texas, a majority of people support increased taxes on the rich. Run on those issues. Things that a wide majority of people support, and that the established party in the area does not. Particularly in regard to the GOP, but not exclusively to them of course, their donors force them tp support policies that their own district disapproves of. Call that out. It's really that simple.

I must say that I love young visionary politicians like this gentleman, but what breaks my heart is that they are so uncorrupted to start out, but then once elected they only tend to focus on getting re-elected and they find out like Obama said, .."I didn't know how to play the game".. Washington chews up and spits out the new fresh Idealist like this rising star, my only advise is for him to remember the people who put you there and serve them not the political machine that grinds out your heart, soul, and mind.

He is gonna win his Senate seat! Why? Because he is busy fighting for the people while Cruz is busy trying to please corporate donors! Cruz only panders to the people and makes public appearances when he needs their votes. I just hope his tenacity doesn't waver once he gets admittance to the DC Corporate Democrat Machine.

Ted Cruz is regarded as a "Gringo " among Hispanic population. Hispanic population close to 40%. Cruz ran Against Sadler, non-Hispanic, to secure his earlier run. If Hispanic and African -Americans go to the polls this could make all the different. Where Cruz shies from being a proud Hispanic and Beto has fortitude to identify himself as such. Harris county --most populous went Democrat. It looks like it will go his way. Cruz has done nothing for Hispanic population and this will surface in 11/2018.Cruz in eyes of true Hispanics is a "Gringo." His actions identifies him as such. Cruz's pansy style makes his unpopular even amongst his colleagues in congress. Apart from NRA, no major supporter for him. As the border and wall issues becomes and even more "Hot" issue it just might make the Hispanic voters turn against him against a true, proud, human being who also is more truer Hispanic than Cruz.Beto can say " La Raza " my race. Where for Cruz it is only empty words

You know, being honest with the people is definitely a beneficial way to win elections but having the ability to deliver that honesty in an intelligent and concise manner with complete and intelligible sentences seals the deal for me. Trump and his GOP can't hold a candle to you.

At 24:15 - It seems that this lead-in to the question would have been a perfect place to bring up public apathy >>> Politicians are nothing without a strong constituency at their backs - both offering cover, and forward pressure.

All these commie "progressives" are manorexic white guys that say meaningless platitudes when at the core of their message is: We want to raise taxes, increase the welfare state, abolish the 2nd amendment, punish the rich because their evil, make everyone equally mediocre and dependent on the state. It's like a new religion. In a world without religion man will find a way to live to a higher altrustic morality. And this twisted religion puts the welfare state at the head. The ideal welfare state is the city on a hill. A paradise on Earth. Satan is an amorphous archetype of "greedy rich people" and "white patriarchy". Good is the Earth in it's natural state and smart people only doing things that "don't hurt the earth" and any surplus is given away(even though they earned it) for a greater moral good. Except celebrities and elite. They are exempt from this moral standard. The scary thing is this ideal is the most immoral and damaging ideal in the long run. It's oppression. authoritarianism, and racism disguised as some higher moral good. For the pragmatic, the policies are not sustainable and will weaken the individual. It's religion turned on it's head.

I only have one question for you people in the Democratic party, are you willing to die for Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer what about Illegal Aliens? What about for Hillary Clinton and the Billions of Dollars that they stole? What about Joe Biden's Son at the $70 Million back door deals they were doing? What about Obama Billions to Iran? What about the Corrupt FBI, DOJ covering up for them? Do you really think they care about you? What have they done for you personally or your family in the last 100 years?
Watching the day-to-day media hysteria, any rational observer is horrified, not at what the President actually did, but at the media and select politicians who seem to have gone collectively insane and now demand that the rest of us join them. So the question is.... are you willing to give up your life for all of those Elites? I for one will not surrender my life for any of those Traitors and those that follow them. It is an easy question to Answer.... Yes or No....

One of the greatest areas of deception comes when things are going well, and individuals come out and tell you the opposite. One of the biggest reasons that there are walls around prisons. Is not because honest people are trying to get into prison. It's because the dishonest ones who want to get into society and do more harm. If you honestly do not believe this is the case then, direct your leaders to remove the walls around the prisons in your state. Never fall for that deception, that these walls are bad for society. They are very necessary to keep these illegal individuals from harming innocent Americans.
When someone tells you to remove those walls and things will be okay. Be very weary of those individuals. Because they are either protecting their criminal buddies, or enjoy seeing harm come to you deceptively ! When adults put huge walls at the border of a cliff, it generally is there to stop babies from falling over the cliffs because they care for the safety of their children. The babies do not understand because of obvious reasons. It's why the adults are responsible for their safety because they love their children. Not the other way around ! The Democrats are certainly wrong on this issue of open borders.

Beto O'rourke, gets it he's not campaigning on party lines. He doesn't want to waste time on partisan issues. It's refreshing to see someone who cares deeply about all Americans, all ethic groups. He doesn't focus on religious affiliations or sexual orientation or gender bias, as it pertains to qualifications. This is what's needed in these divisive times to bring this country back to true democracy. This truly is a litmus test for future generations. Take note!!!!

Beto O'Rourke is a socialist. Texas does not need total federal government control. That's what socialism is. Wake up to reality! He also race baits against law enforcement officers. If anyone here has law enforcers in their family you will be endangering their lives with O'Rourke's awful rhetoric against them.

Beto is for confused 55 year old men using woman's bathrooms. So long as he is another perverted democrat, he won't have a chance winning. People are sick and tired of this crap being forced upon their lives. We don't want laws that allow 55 year old identity changing male democrats in the showers and locker rooms with 10 year old girls.

and last and certainly least, the latest from Richard Viguerie, the essence of political lunacy, which is so deranged, I personally find it to be hilarious. What do you think; please comment...from today's newsletter entitled:
Democrats dangerous, mean-spirited, violent side appears just in time
The information you need to help prevent Nancy Pelosi and the liberal Democrats from taking control of Congress in November and impeaching President Trump and Justice Kavanaugh in 2019 starts here in this newsletter.
Establishment Republicans think they can win by running on "local issues," or by touting tax cuts, or by simply outspending the Democrats. THEY ARE WRONG!
The only way we can prevent disaster in November is to nationalize the election by BRANDING the Democrats as dangerous far left radical, mean-spirited, and violent socialists.
Use this information to start doing so. If you have a talk show, tell it to your listeners. If you are a blogger or columnist, tell it to your readers. If you are a candidate for any office, tell the voters. Or if you are a Tea Party or local conservative activist, take it to your next meeting or Town Hall.
We are the ONLY group nationalizing the election by BRANDING the Democrats as dangerous, mean-spirited, violent socialists and other messages to targeted audiences. This is how we conservatives take control and win the elections Republicans are sure to lose on their own.

Early in the 2016 Primary campaign, I started a Facebook group: Bernie Sanders: Advice and Strategies to Help Him Win! As the primary season advanced, we shifted the focus to advancing Bernie's legislation in the Senate, particularly the most critical one, to protect Oak Flat, sacred to the San Carlos Apaches, in the Tonto National Forest, from John McCain's efforts to privatize this national forest and turn it over to Rio Tinto Mining, an Australian mining company whose record by comparison makes Monsanto look like altar boys, to be developed as North America's largest copper mine. This is monstrous and despicable, and yet only Bernie's Save Oak Flat Act (S2242) stands in the way of this diabolical plan.
We added "2020" to the title.
I am an art gallery owner in Santa Fe since 1980 selling Native American painting and NM landscapes, specializing in modern Native Ledger Art.
I have always been intensely involved in politics, going back to the mid's 1970's, being a volunteer lobbyist in the US Senate for the Secretary General of the United Nations, then a "snowball-in-hell" campaign for US Senate in NM in the late 70's, and for the past 20 years have worked extensively to pressure the FDA to rescind its approval for aspartame, the neurotoxic artificial sweetener metabolized as formaldehyde. This may be becoming a reality to an extent in California, which, under Proposition 65, is considering requiring a mandatory Carcinogen label on all aspartame products, although all bureaucracies seem to stall under any kind of corporate pressure.
Bills to ban aspartame were in the State Senates of New Mexico and Hawaii, but were shut down by corporate lobbyists (particularly Monsanto lobbyists in Hawaii and Coca Cola lobbyists in New Mexico).
For several years, I was the editor of New Mexico Sun News, and my letters to the editor and op/eds in 2016 have appeared in NM, California, Wisconsin, New York, Maryland, the Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, and many international papers, on the subject of consumer protection. Our best issue was 10 days before Obama won in 2008, when we published a special early edition of the paper declaring that Obama Wins! This was the top story on CNN for many hours, way back then....
My highest accomplishments thus far are
1. a plan to create a UN Secretary General's Pandemic Board of Inquiry, a plan that is in the works and might be achieved even before the 75th UN General Assembly in September 2020.
2. Now history until the needs becomes clear to the powers who run the United Nations: a UN Resolution to create a new Undersecretary General for Nutrition and Consumer Protection, strongly supported ten years ago by India and 53 cosponsoring nations, but shut down by the US Mission to the UN in 2008. To read it, google UNITED NATIONS UNDERSECRETARY GENERAL FOR NUTRITION, please.
These are not easy battles, any of them, and they require a great deal of political and journalistic focus. OpEdNews is the perfect place for those who have a lot to say, so much that they exceed the limiting capacities of their local and regional newspapers. Trying to go beyond the regional papers seems to require some kind of "inside" credentials, as if you had to be in a club of corporate-accepted writers, and if not, you are "from somewhere else," a sad state of corporate induced xenophobia that should have no place in America in 2020!
This should be a goal for every author with something current to say: breaking through yet another glass ceiling, and get your say said in editorial pages all over America. Certainly, this was a tool that was essentially ignored in 2016, and cannot be ignored in the big elections of 2020.
In my capacity as Editor of the Santa Fe Sun News, Fox interviewed Mikhail Gorbachev: http://www.prlog.org/10064349-mikhail-gorbachev
