How Come?

How come a Group of 13 Nations each with it's own laws, own history and own military could so soon after be taken over by a bunch of rich guys more concerned with property then people?

How come a nation of the people, by the people and for the people could end up serving not the people but a few whose only qualification is that they have more money then others?

How come a Nation built on the premise that all people are created equal and on the act of throwing off kings and royalty could end up with a government that in fact completely ignores the rights and needs of it's people? A government which for all intent and purpose has a new royalty made up mostly of the families of robber barons and bankers? Mostly people who have never worked a day in their lives and have only a thin varnish of education?

How did we get from "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." to a government by the rich, for the rich and the hell with the useless eaters?

How can a government which was created n fact by the throwing off of a government which no longer served the people with these words "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." Descend into a government which if anything directly works against the well being of it's people?

I suggest a Constitutional Convention not of a few rich guys meeting in secret, not of people beholden to a political party or business but to all of us.
I propose a convention held in every neighborhood, every community, every ward, every state and every group of men, women, black, white, yellow or purple. I suggest that WE SET ASIDE THE GOVERNMENT WHICH NO LONGER SERVES THE PEOPLE AND that everyone have a say in setting limits on and making completely open a new government which will renew the covenant between people and the government that they empower.

It is becoming more and more apparent that the present government of the United States of America no longer has any legal standing before the court of public opinion. Neither the system of courts, the system of legislature or the system of management of the government.  Above all we need to do away with secrecy which for the most part separates government from the people.

This from someone who it is very doubtful that i will live to see such limits put upon government. I have passed on many times. the last I was asked to come back and bring peace to the world and justice to the American People. I was not told how, I was not asked to do anything else. I still have no idea how to accomplish this other then I was told world peace depends on making the government of the United States subject to it's people.
