Paul Manafort plans to file a motion to suppress evidence that was "improperly obtained" by special counsel Robert Mueller's team via a "search warrant, subpoena, or otherwise," according to a new court document filed by his lawyer Kevin Downing on Friday. Manafort and his longtime business associate Rick Gates were indicted last week on charges related to alleged financial crimes that include money laundering and tax fraud. They turned themselves in to the FBI on Monday and are currently on house arrest. Mueller said on Thursday that the government would need likely need three weeks to present its case in court against Manafort and Gates.
