Boston Area Lockdown Could be Biggest in recent US History

By Rob Kall

this could be the biggest lockdown in US history.

Former head of Homeland Michael Chertoff   told Morning Joe, on MSNBC, "Never heard of such a large area locked down"--

Governor DeVal Patrick called the lockedown "shelter in place,"  to stay indoors with doors locked
Lockdown applies to all of cambridge, waltham, newton, belmont, and all of Boston.

There is a massive police presence.

MSNBC reports that flights over Boston are also being restricted.

Opednews.com writer Sheila Parks reports in a comment on the breaking news article on what's happening in Boston:

I live in Watertown, MA
I have been up most of night, I don't have much energy to write. The whole city is quarantined and we cannot go out of our houses.  Businesses ordered to close. Rumors are flying. I live very near where police were thinking second guy was last night. A friend just called and said they (whoever "they" is) now thought he was somewhere else. Who knows. Last night, Reddit had best info, or so it seemed. It is very scary, to put it mildly. Thank goodness for friends on social media when I put the call for prayers for all of us and now to all of you reading this, please.  Another friend stayed on the phone with me for two hours last night. Thank God for family and friends. Rob, thanks for writing this and glad you will continue all day
