Setting an all-time record, oil prices jumped to $103.95 a barrel today, "exceeding the inflation-adjusted high reached in the early 1980s during the second oil shock." The dollar also "fell to its lowest level in three years against the yen on Monday. It also dropped to a record $1.5274 in early New York trading against the euro following steep declines last week." |
