An analysis of the 'Election Verification Exit Poll' of the CA 2008 election revealed the poll fell within the margin of error on all issues except the controversial 'Marriage Equality Ban' (Prop 8). The average discrepancy between the official Prop 8 count and the poll was 7.75%, with some L.A. precincts at a startling 17.7%. The study noted that with e-voting, "we cannot know whether the official results are accurate."
