AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE SELECTOR Plug
in your issue preferences and they are compared to candidates positions. I
tried reversing mine-- thinking the way Bush would think. Sure enough, I
got 100% for Bush, then the next candidate was only 62%. I think that
shows how extreme Bush is. My real preferences yielded the greatest
likeness to Kucinich and Kerry. The follow up page is loaded with good
info on the candidates' positions.

Positions:
Corporate Personhood:
Dennis Kucinich: The issue of corporate personhood is one that I think is
going to emerge in the 21st century. I sincerely believe there is a new
breed of business person coming forward who are socially responsible, who want
to do the right thing, who are interested in new techniques which protect the
environment, and sustainability, that are guided by principles that affirm
human dignity. We also understand that thre are individuals who operate
corporations who do not care about communities. I think we need a new standard.
I think that standard ought to be considered is one of a federal charterof
corporations which would require a certain conduct be honest, not to cheat your
shareholders, , workers' rights, environmental laws, just to be a good citizen.
If an ordinary citizen breaks the good faith of the community, breaks the law,
they are subject to penalties. Often these corporations are not subject to
anything substantial, yet they organize their economic power in a way that they
can basically break a community. We need to create a new balance in our society
and my administration will do that by looking for measures to insure greater
corporate accountability.
