Newsmax: Military Coup Would Take Care Of "Obama Problem"
This is about as close to treason and sedition as you can get. It's time for the government to start taking action against those whom are attempting to incite violence.

Whistleblower: Baucus health bill an ‘absolute gift' to insurers
According to a CNN Commentary this AM, this is likely the Bill that President Obama will support. It's absurd, and no Bill is better than this gift to the Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies. Everyone should raise holy hell about this Bill that was drawn-up by an ex V.P in the insurance industry. This isn't a health care Bill, but more robbery of the American people. Why don't they just bring guns and rob us point blank?

Could Dick Cheney Go to Prison? (By Ray McGovern, Consortium News)
Cheney seems to fear that if our system of justice works, he could be in for some serious, uncommuted jail time.

Fear, anger and fatalism over swine flu in Mexico
(4 comments)
This new mutation of "swine flu" is "a strange mix of human, pig and bird viruses that has epidemiologists deeply concerned." It is likely the disease has already spread internationally; even in the US, the CDC is watching "In New York City, health officials say about 75 students at a Queens high school have fallen ill with flu-like symptoms and testing is under way to rule-out swine flu." We are overdue for a Pandemic.

Faith-Based Fudging
President Obama fulfilled one campaign promise and violated another recently with an executive order revamping the White House office for religion-based and neighborhood programs. Why would President Obama fudge on his "pledge(d) that unlike Mr. Bush, he would provide meaningful safeguards to avoid the blurring of church-state boundaries, including a firm rule barring discrimination on the basis of religion.

Commentary: Free trade has sold out the American worker
(1 comments)
While America reels from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, it is time that we take a deeper look at the root causes of our current predicament.
The cold, hard truth is that the unholy alliance between Washington and Wall Street has sold out the American worker and exported our standard of living.

Bloody Monday: Over 71,400 jobs lost
(3 comments)
Yesterday, I estimated there were approximately 47,000 job losses; I was wrong. By the end of the day, now called "Bloody Monday" by CNN, a staggering 71,400 jobs had been lost, and this is only the tip of the iceberg! The economy is in a nose-dive, and while Obama has pledged to create millions of jobs over the next few years, America needs a short-term solution - and we need it now to prevent the economy from collapsing.

Postponing the election: It's a joke, or is it?
When the Boston Globe wrote this article, it's amazing how they left out so much information that bolsters why millions of Americans fear that President Bush will declare Martial Law before or sometime after the November elections. Knowledge is power, and an article that could have been significant was rendered ineffective by the omission of several facts contained in the material they cited which was available - but ignored.

House of Representatives' Web site overwhelmed
Much to my delight, people from all over the United States have been calling and emailing Congress to register their disgust with Bush' bail-out program. The traffic has been so high that IT Managers have had to divert the traffic at peak times so the entire system wouldn't fail. None of our Representatives will be able to claim they didn't know the people were solidly against this welfare attempt for America's wealthy.

State of Emergency: The US in the Final Six Months of the George W. Bush Administration
(2 comments)
Absolutely one of the best commentary's I've read lately. People seem to be dying unexpectedly all over the place, even CIA Agents who have risked their lives in the defense of our nation. Press for impeachment, or start a general strike to begin immediately that will force Congress to act. This is far past being able to contain using conventional protest methods. If we don't strike or do something NOW, Democracy may be gone.

Dissent in America to be relabeled "Homegrown Terrorism"
Another great synopsis of S 1959, and another call to action. The Internet is buzzing with concern over this Bill, and we as Americans must take the matter to task and email and call Congress until they finally admit to the public that this Bill has probably received more negative remarks by Americans than any other Bill in my recent memory. Join the fight - make those calls!

Why Is There Even An Argument In Regard Impeachment
(1 comments)
Even the Huffington Post is adopting the party line against impeachment, and recent developments with QWEST demonstrate that Bush and Cheney began shredding our Constitution the second month they were in office. Impeachment, with this new info, is mandatory as per the Rule of Law.
