OMRF wins $10 million grant to study lupus - Sentinel Staff
The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has received a $10 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to study the autoimmune disease lupus. The five-year award comes from the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases at the NIH.

Oklahoma supporters rally for health reform
Supporters for health care reform, organized by The Peace House, gathered outside the office of U.S. Rep. Mary Fallin, many of them holding brightly colored signs bearing slogans like "honk for health care and "support a public option. Speakers included Dr. Katherine Scheirman and Dr. Boyd Shook who stressed the need for health care reform.
