For six years, Arun worked at the Youth Health Empowerment Project developing a harm reduction drop-in center for youth in Philadelphia providing a variety of services, including case management, therapy, and basic health care. Prabhakaran is currently employed at Solutions for Progress, a public policy consulting firm which innovates and creates new public and private partnerships that benefit all involved utilizing technology, research, analysis and practical applications to improve the quality of life of their clients. Arun graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Chemistry. He lives in West Philadelphia with his wife, Carrie and their two children, Kamal and Nina.
