An engaged citizen born early in the "Baby Boomer" era. Retired civil servant and military veteran. Live on a small farm. Blessed with a wonderful wife 4 children and 2 grandchildren (plus a grandson one on the way). Avid listener to classic (esp. baroque), folk/bluegrass, and New Age music. Recent terrific book read, "Alexander Hamilton," by Ron Chernow. Some favorite movies, "Secret of Roan Inish," "K-PAX," "The End of the Affair," and "Star Wars." Succinct statement of concern: for GWBush to have been re-elected, with Republican majorities in the House and Senate, proves an abject failure of civics education and ignorance of the web of life. We must pledge, for the benefit of all current and future sentient beings, to eradicate the Bu-shite political plague and install public-serving, benificent, planet-healing elected and appointed government officials.
