Friday, February 10, 2012 Why the Catholic Bishops are wrong about birth control
The Catholic Church has gone overboard and demonstrated its own irrelevance by its strict stance on birth control. 98% of Catholic women have used artificial contraception at some point in their lives. There are no good reasons to constrain a woman's right to choose. Americans are entitled to make these personal decisions for themselves. Let us celebrate them and their diversity and their right to control their own bodies.
Monday, December 19, 2011 From America to Amerika: The End Game (1 comments)
The progressive erosion of civil rights in the United States started with "Operation Paperclip" and the recruitment of criminal Nazi scientists for employment by U.S. intelligence. The further trashing of the Bill of Rights under the Patriot Act, in the wake of 9/11, has now been surpassed by a Gestapo-like bill that legalizes arrest, indefinite detention, torture and interrogation of U.S. citizens without any charge or trial.
Saturday, April 23, 2011 Inside Higher Ed Ignores 9/11 Evidence (9 comments)
A relatively obscure dispute about a philosophy journal has been featured in a column in Inside Higher Ed, but with a misleading remark by the reporter, who implies that there is no evidence that refutes the "official account" of 9/11. Attempts to set the record straight were rejected by the journal, which appears to be unwilling to acknowledge that, in fact, the evidence for an "inside job" is both abundant and compelling.
Tuesday, March 1, 2011 ON THE ETHICAL CONDUCT OF WARFARE: PREDATOR DRONES (4 comments)
We are depriving the citizens of other countries of their life, liberty, and property with no semblance of due process. Our actions are not only in violation of international law, the UN Charter, and the United States' Constitution but also violate basic human rights. We once believed it was better for ten guilty me to go free than for one innocent man to be punished. We are now willing to kill 140 for each of our targets.
Friday, November 26, 2010 JFK: What We Know Now (6 comments)
A research group consisting of the best qualified experts to ever study the death of JFK, including three M.D.s and three Ph.D.s, has sorted out the genuine from the fabricated evidence and found that the "magic bullet" theory is not only false but not even anatomically possible, that JFK was hit four times, that shots were fired from in front, from behind, and from the side, and that Lee Oswald was "the patsy" as he claimed.
Thursday, March 18, 2010 Predator Drones: The Immoral Use of Autonomous Machines (2 comments)
Predator drones, like other tools including computerized systems, are inherently amoral -"neither moral nor immoral -" from a deontological point of view. They, like other digital machines, have no concept of morality, of personhood or of mutual respect. They are simply complex causal systems that function on the basis of their programs. Using them to target "insurgents", we killing some 140 innocents for each intended target.
Monday, January 25, 2010 Are Corporations Inherently Corrupt? (1 comments)
With regard to alternative concepts of morality, corporations - apart from non-profits - exemplify the most pernicious as limited utilitarian entities, which seek to maximize benefits to themselves, regardless of the consequences for others or for society. Exploiting resources, minimizing wages, evading taxes and promoting monopolies are among their favorite tactics. Their vast powers need to be constrained, not expanded.
Friday, January 22, 2010 MY PERSONAL MEDICARE SCAM: SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE
The breathing device that I was prescribed to cope with sleep apnea retails for $1,439.00. Home Care United Inc., which rents it to me, has been receiving $257.66 every month since February from Medicare. After 13 months, I own it, but the profit margin is more than 100% and, based upon estimates about usage around the United States, this single device alone may be generating profits in the vicinity of two trillion dollars.
Friday, January 22, 2010 Birds of a Feather: Subverting the Constitution at Harvard Law (1 comments)
Cass Sunstein and Adrian Vermuele of the Harvard School of Law advocate restrictions on the First Amendment to preclude discussion of conspiracies. They have recommended that JFK assassination researchers and 9/11 truth groups should be infiltrated by government agents to subvert them and provoke them into violations of the law for which they might be arrested. They are opposing conspiracy theories by advocating a conspiracy.
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 THE DARTMOUTH JFK-PHOTO FIASCO (10 comments)
A Dartmouth computer scientist, Hany Farid, claims that it is "extremely unlikely" that backyard photographs of accused assassin Lee Harvey Oswald are fake based on a digital analysis of shadows. Had he conducted a literature search, he would have known that the shadows are but one of multiple indications of fakery. Even if he were right about the shadows, he would be wrong about the photos, one of which was on LIFE's cover.
Monday, September 7, 2009 More 9/11 Rubbish: This time from National Geographic, no less (5 comments)
The National Geographic Channel's recent, “9/11: Science and Conspiracy”, is a blatant attempt to suppress and distort objective data that contradicts the official account. Its major arguments—related to the melting of steel, the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers, the use of thermite to bring them down, and the Boeing 757 hit at the Pentagon—were based upon fallacies I spent 35 years teaching students to avoid.
Monday, August 17, 2009 Why Funding for Abortions is Essential to the Nation's Health (3 comments)
Ron Paul, the prominent libertarian, has argued that to include abortion funding in a national health care plan would would be immoral. This op-ed contends that the opposite is the case and that to exclude abortion. An exchange with Ron Paul supporters, especially Shane Matthews, brings the underlying issues to the surface, clarifying and illuminating their full dimensions.
Monday, July 6, 2009 Making a Monkey out of Pat Buchanan (2 comments)
In his comments on a new book attacking Darwinism, Pat Buchanan endorses the claims (a) that Charles Darwin stole his theory from Alfred Wallace; (b) that the theory of evolution has proven to be "disastrous"; and (c) that belief in evolution is an example of faith-based science. These claims are not only provably false but reflect a profound misunderstanding of one of the most important discoveries in the history of science.
Wednesday, June 17, 2009 Is 9/11 Research "Anti-Semitic"? (22 comments)
Attacks upon 9/11 research have reached an extreme point where FOX host Glenn Beck has gone so far as to claim the 9/11 truth movement is a threat to the national security of the US. Comparisons with Holocaust deniers are rampant. Yet there is no basis for that analogy and the only "threat" to national security is the one posed by exposing 9/11 as having been "an inside job", for which there is extensive and powerful proof.
Friday, May 1, 2009 Arlen Specter and The "Magic" Bullet (6 comments)
As a junior member of the Warren Commission staff, Arlen Specter was responsible for the defense of the "magic bullet" theory, which claims that a bullet--allegedly fired by Lee Harvey Oswald--hit the back of JFK's neck, passed through to exit his throat without hitting any bony structures, and caused multiple wounds to Governor John Connally. This claim, which is provably false, was used to deceive the American people.
Sunday, April 12, 2009 Has Cheney been Murdering Americans? (43 comments)
The revelation that Vice President Dick Cheney was running an "executive assassination ring" from the White House has raised the disturbing question, "Has Cheney been murdering Americans?" Reviewing the case of Sen. Paul Wellstone, an outspoken critic of the Bush administration, places the matter beyond a reasonable doubt. Other probable cases include those of NFL star Pat Tillman and of 9/11 activist Beverly Eckert.
Saturday, March 28, 2009 Zapruder JFK Film Impeached by Moorman JFK Polaroid (15 comments)
A debate raging within the JFK research community over a photo taken by a bystander named "Mary Moorman" has yielded unexpected benefits in impeaching the most famous film of events in Dealey Plaza, which is attributed to Abraham Zapruder. The photo shows JFK's head was not turned dramatically to the left, which means that the medical evidence of a massive defect to the back of his head serves to falsify "the Zapruder film".
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 Answers regarding the U.S. Campaign for the Cultural and Academic Boycott of Israel (2 comments)
An inquiry about my support for a cultural and academic boycott of Israel because of its treatment of the Palestinian people led an independent writer to contact me. I offered my reasons for doing so, which I want to share with others who are reflecting on this problem, which I regard as the preeminent human rights issue of our time.
Wednesday, February 25, 2009 FACING FUNDAMENTALISM (13 comments)
The movement known as "fundamentalism" anchors itself to a few, very basic, religious doctrines, such as the Virgin Birth and the bodily resurrection. It advocates creationism, creation science, and ID as alternatives to the theory of evolution. Here it is examined as a religious doctrine, as a political movement, and as a resource for public policies. Overcoming its influence requires a strong system of public education.
Monday, December 15, 2008 The Vatican's Immoral Declaration (7 comments)
The Vatican's new declaration on bioethics reinforces the church's opposition to the morning-after pill, IUDs, and RU-486. These positions are rooted in theological doctrines about ensoulment at the moment of conception as articles of faith that cannot be justified on the basis of objective scientific investigation. They are not logically justifiable and therefore violate the ethics of belief.
Friday, November 21, 2008 Another Attempted Reenactment of the Death of JFK (3 comments)
A documentary broadcast over the Discovery Channel purports to show that a shot to the head of JFK was fired from above and behind. But it makes so many gratuitous assumptions and is contradicted by so much readily available evidence that it has no forensic significance. Sites from which shots were actually fired, for example, were not tested, and the only value of this latest documentary appears to be to dupe the unwary.
Thursday, September 11, 2008 The GOP wants another '9/11" to boost John McCain (1 comments)
The "war on terror" appears to be a fraud, which was motivated by oil, Israel, and ideology. Bush knows torture does not produce truth, but he needs it to extract false confessions to support a phony war. The GOP wants another 9/11 to cement its power and either suspend the Constitution or propel John McCain into the White House, in case The Palin Mystique does not endure. When it comes to 9/11, McCain doesn't have a clue.

Friday, September 5, 2008 John McCain: Morally, Mentally, and Emotionally Unfit (25 comments)
John McCain's 5 ½ years of torture have to have left him emotionally and mentally scarred. Over his entire life, he has repeatedly shown he is out of touch with reality, impulsive and reckless in his judgment, and intellectually lazy and lacking in curiosity. His choice of a completely unqualified "trophy" running mate clearly demonstrates McCain at his worst, incapable of making rational decisions.
Saturday, August 16, 2008 Preposterous Polls and Corrupt Campaigns (4 comments)
Discrepancies between events on the ground and reports in the polls demand our attention, if we want to understand what's going on. Maybe the pollsters are ignoring those who use cell phones. Maybe Hillary has asked her followers to express support for McCain to make her candidacy more compelling. Maybe the polls are suppressing actual voter preferences to set up the theft of the election without our bothering to notice.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 New Proof of Video Fakery on 9/11 (6 comments)
The strongest proofs of video fakery on 9/11 appear to be that United 175 is traveling at an impossible speed for its altitude; that the entry into the South Tower with no debris is physically impossible; that this occurs in uniform motion in violation of Newton's laws; that the Naudet brothers' video of AA 11 reveals "cut outs" being created by secondary explosions and that the Evan Fairbank's video displays similar problems.
Tuesday, July 8, 2008 Libertarian assails Iran myth
Libertarian Congressional candidate Kevin Barrett, who is challenging Democratic incumbent Ron Kind in Wisconsin's Third District, has demanded that Kind retract his claim that the President of Iran has called for Israel to be "wiped off the map", which Barrett maintains is a false and libelous statement based on a misattribution and a more serious mistranslation. It is being used as propaganda to promote a new war with Iran.
Friday, April 25, 2008 Hillary's Favorite Fallacies
Any student of logic has to be astonished that the five most important arguments being advanced on behalf of Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination are fallacious. Some of them, such as that, since she prevailed over Obama in certain large states, such as Pennsylvania, Obama would be unable to win those states in the general election, are even being featured on the front page of The New York Times. They are not true.
Tuesday, April 22, 2008 9/11 and the Neo-Con Agenda (36 comments)
The anti-war movement and the 9/11 truth movement should be more closely linked, since exposing the truth about 9/11 destroys the justification for those wars. Here is a summation of his remarks by the Founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, presented during a "Freedom Rally" on 15 April 2008 in Washington, D.C., to honor Ron Paul. When it comes to 9/11, however, Ron Paul himself doesn't have a clue.
Tuesday, March 18, 2008 What's Wrong with Rev. Wright? (6 comments)
Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, gave a sermon at the school's Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel in Washington on January 15, 2006. It is now being used to drive a wedge between Obama and his followers. Most of his black supporters believe what Wright has had to say, but many of his white supporters do not. The political trap laid can be avoided by separating truth from fiction.
Monday, February 18, 2008 Bush Needs Torture and Terrorism (13 comments)
The denial of due process and reliance upon torture have been justified on the basis of the attacks of 9/11. Bush needs torture to extract false confessions to support a fake "war on terror."
Tuesday, February 5, 2008 New Proof of JFK Film Fakery: "Conclusive Evidence," Experts Claim (1 comments)
A new study of eyewitness reports in assassinationresearch.com has revealed a major discrepancy between the sequence of events as these witnesses observed it and the sequence presented in home movies of the assassination known as the Zapruder film and the Nix film. The witnesses reported that a motorcycle patrolman rode forward to the lead car to advise the Chief of Police the President had been shot. Neither film shows it.
Thursday, October 11, 2007 9/11 Scholar files "Qui Tam" lawsuit against NIST (3 comments)
A prominent member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, Dr. Judy Wood, has filed a Qui Tam lawsuit against several companies that were contracted by the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) to provide technical assistance to NIST alleging fraud in the work they performed concerning the official investigation of why and how the World Trade Center complex was destroyed on 9/11/01. The Court has now made the suit public.
Saturday, September 29, 2007 Scholars' WTC Report Appeal acknowledged by NIST (16 comments)
A former professor of mechanical engineering at Clemson University and a prominent member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, has formally challenged the government's official explanation (jet plane impacts and jet fuel fires) as the cause of the destruction of the Twin Towers and other buildings at the World Trade Center. In her formal complaint, she asserts that directed energy weaponry was instead used to pulverize the Twin Towers
Wednesday, September 12, 2007 An Open Letter to the US Marine Corps about 9/11 (9 comments)
Major General Smedley Butler, among the most celebrated of all Marines, wrote WAR IS A RACKET, complaining about the abuse of the military for the benefit of corporations. A former USMC artillery officer, who founded Scholars for 9/11 Truth, submitted this article to the Marine Corps GAZETTE, which it would not publish. This is a lesson every Marine, even every American, deserves to know about the profit motive driving wars.
Thursday, August 30, 2007 Scholars endorse "The Kennebunkport Warning": Report ominous signs of a privatized takeover of the nation (5 comments)
Scholars support The Kennebunkport Warning of an impending fake terrorist attack to be followed by a military assault on Iran and the imposition of martial law in the United States. In the past, we have had confidence that the US military, our national guard, our local police and armed citizens had the combined ability to withstand threats to our liberty from our own government. Recent events may mean this is no longer true.
Thursday, August 2, 2007 The "Mission Accomplished" Fiasco: Saddam was dead, but killing him was illegal, Scholars maintain (2 comments)
The evidence suggests the US was able to kill Saddam Hussein within three weeks of our intervention in Iraq, but that his assassination violated Executive Orders signed by three presidents. Plans for a celebration of "Mission Accomplished" had to be drastically revised, since it would make Bush vulnerable to international criticism. Saddam was 'resurrected' by means of a double, who was captured, tried, and presumably hanged.
Saturday, July 28, 2007 Mounting Evidence of 9/11 Video Fakery: New proof of media duplicity, Scholars claim (43 comments)
New studies provide substantial evidence that TV channels were broadcasting manipulated images in real time on 9/11. The on-line series "September Clues" and a detailed analysis of the live WNYW (Fox 5) helicopter video of UA 175 hitting the South Tower demonstrate the problems. The evidence of media duplicity on 9/11, which depends upon a time lag between the occurrence of an event and the time it is broadcast, is mounting.
Monday, July 16, 2007 GOP welcomes new 9/11: Reports lay groundwork for attack, Scholars say (2 comments)
A spate of new reports of al Qaida resurgence appears to be laying the foundation for a fake attack on the US to bolster support for the "war on terror" and Bush's sagging political fortunes. This conforms to a confidential memo circulated among senior Republican leaders that a new attack would be good for the GOP. Not even Michael Chertoff seems to be investigating what sources know that could help to prevent a real attack.
Monday, July 2, 2007 NIST exploring 9/11 conspiracy theory for WTC-7: New witness confirms Scholars previous findings (4 comments)
The National Institute for Standards and Technology appears to be moving in the direction of a conspiracy theory about the destruction of WTC-7. This comes as a new witness reports explosions inside the building early that morning, long before the building would be destroyed at 5:20 PM. This reinforces Scholars for 9/11 Truth previous finding that WTC-7 was a controlled demolition, which the government is trying to conceal.
Wednesday, June 27, 2007 Purdue 9/11 simulation exposed as fraud: Media covers up hoax and conceals crimes (2 comments)
A study of the Purdue 9/11 simulation of the collapse of the South Tower has exposed it as a fraud. Nick Irving, a new member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, has shown the simulation was based upon false data, the fire could not have caused bare steel to weaken, whether the steel was fireproofed does not matter, and it doesn't even include a collapse. It was meant to cover up the 9/11 hoax and protect the responsible parties.
Thursday, June 21, 2007 New Study from Pilots for 9/11 Truth: No Boeing 757 Hit the Pentagon (22 comments)
Pilots for 9/11 Truth obtained black box data from the government under the Freedom of Information Act for AA Flight 77, which The 9/11 Report claims hit the Pentagon. Analysis of the data contradicts the official account in direction, approach, and altitude. The plane was too high to hit lamp posts and would have flown over the Pentagon, not impacted with its ground floor.
