Excuse me, but -- can you hear Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" melody ringing in your ears? Pardon me, while I scratch my head with greasy fingers...

Let's see if I got this right. The Grand Old Party expects us to "trust" a smirking chimp who "left no millionaire behind" while cutting funds from the New Orleans levee improvement project in order to help pay for his illegal war for profit in Iraq? Trust a president capable of such breathtaking dereliction of duty at home in order to fund the maiming, killing and displacement of thousands of innocent men, women and children -- the slaughter of American soldiers and marines -- on a daily basis?

Trust a dry-drunk moron who stacked his administration with political cronies who lack even the basic skills of the agencies they run? A shameful example is Michael Brown, FEMA's failed disaster-protector/-savior who was armed-to-the-teeth to protect America with knowledge of Arab horse shows.
This is the same bumbling Brown that Bush publicly slapped on the back as casualties mounted from Katrina and proclaimed, "Hey, Brownie -- you're doing a great job!" The same Brown who was allowed to resign in disgrace but wasn't FIRED?

Trust a lackey who took a FIVE-WEEK vacation throughout which he turned his back on a Gold Star Mother camped at his gate as 2,000 soldiers died overseas on multiple battlefields -- while a million-plus American citizens needlessly suffered, became homeless or perished from "incompetence," on the Gulf Coast?

Trust a common thief who is giving billions of dollars from our National Treasury to companies such as Halliburton, Bechtel, and other Republican-connected cronies awarded work on the Gulf Coast via no-bid contracts? A "trust" previously violated by the same companies who admit they knowingly ripped us off in Iraq?

Trust thy Dubya while he gives Karl "turd-blossom" Rove responsibility of a $200 BILLION dollar debit card with the American taxpayer as the billing address?

Trust a sly devil who signed an executive order revoking the decades-old Davis-Bacon provisions, to ensure that his well-connected, no-bid contract-receiving campaign-contributing cronies will shrewdly profit by paying low, sub-standard wages to already needy, impoverished workers rebuilding the Gulf Coast?

Trust a loser who is giving his Republican-ruled Congress an unopposed commission to investigate/whitewash the response to Hurricane Katrina, yet another "rip-off again" kangaroo court system of "oversight" and "non-accountability," where Democrats will be powerless to subpoena or interact, thus being effectively shut out?

Trust you say?

Well, let me enlighten you with my observation skills and wisdom on TRUST! I was brought-up to believe that "trust," just like "respect," is an honor only attributed to those who deserve it after first proving their worthiness of receiving it. Sorry folks: the elephant has already killed the gnat on this one!

In fact, "trust," in terms of "truth," was the first casualty of war in Bush's covert action against the American way of life. See FOX, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC and CBS etc., for details. However, it's better to know who's knocking at your back door before getting raped; I guess that's why they say love hurts... Truth is, trusting Bush is "tuff love" at best, because there is no individual on this earth more undeserving of "trust."

Wake Up! The madness isn't madness anymore...stop embracing the whirlwind of inequality and injustice in this love sick patriotism we call the body-politic! We need a conscious revolution in this country to remind us that the American dream and pursuit of happiness is not found in politics of fear and deception. If we do not stand up and fight back, life will continue unchanged under Bush & Company. It will continue to be a sodomizing event -- a brutal consummation of constant misery "dragged-out" by an administration that cares not for the physical and financial well-being of its citizens.
