Thank You Dubya
We've known for a long time what a crooked creep ya' are
We've you've no respect for the law
We know you don't give a damn 'bout the constitution
Your election was totally flawed

But now you've tipped your hat
Enough
To push the switch to GO
It's impeachment time
You're number two
Cheney's First, you know.

The train has left the station today
It will not slow or stop
You will not leave the Whitehouse the ordinary way
You'll do the perp walk, in front of a cop.

You'll face a trial
Do jail time
Get to know a Six foot four biker... well.
And when you die
You surely will go
Straight to hell.(if you believe in the afterlife.)

But no thanks

I wanted to impeach (Cheney first, of course) but became convinced by the progressive Senators (Brown, Klobuchar, esp.) at the Take Back America conference.

If we move to impeach, we become persecutors. Bush becomes a victim, poor thing.

And the agenda voters requested – out of Iraq, health care, energy, etc. – will stall.

The country needs action not accusation. Voters will reward those who work to get things done. The road forward goes around impeachment.

There is more at stake than a Presidential election

Set aside thoughts of Democrats and Republicans and think like Americans in a world where you are outnumbered and frankly currently on the nose for breaking your treaties. If you don't impeach then you tell the world that Americans only respect jungle justice and the terrorists are likely to oblige you with increasing sympathy to their cause. We live in a world where doctors are becoming terrorists now.

On the other hand if you impeach Bush with a popular movement from the citzens up, the whole world will see you do it, and the world will have to be impressed by the fact that at long last you are a people of laws. That fact just might check the terrorism recruitment programs that Bush and Cheney have fired up.

I am Australian and a secular humanist I have no religion but dammit you folk that can't see beyond getting a democrat president in at all costs make me look at 9-11 and think maybe the terrorists had a point.

The choice is whether Americans are going to be for rule of law or rule of war. If you don't impeach Bush then in my mind you are just a bunch of warmongers and the world, the rest of humanity, would be objectively better off without you.

I've been thinking of Nancy Pelosi as Nancy-impeachment-is-off-the-table-Peolosi but she is actually Nancy-the-Constitution-is-off-the-table-Pelosi she is only willing to stand up and do the right thing when she thinks she can win and she doesn't factor that she is losing in the eyes of many in the world that won't vote but will effect the future Americans live in by doing nothing and by treating her article 6 obligation to "support the constitution" as optional.

You Americans have responsibilities as a result of signing treaties to keep you rouge lawbreaking politicans in check. If you don't do it by lawful means then non-Americans will have to try to bring you back to an appreciation of law and honor by unlawful means. That is not a threat it is simply the baseline logic of the situation. People are largely the same the world over and many of us cannot and will not indefinately live under a jackboot without rising up to fight against it. An American jackboot is just as obnoxious as a German one.  Dammit America owes it to the rest of the world and not just to itself to impeach when impeaching is the only route to justice.

No thanks

You're wrong.  We can not allow someone to steal two elections, lie us into war, and break every law in the book and let them get away with it.

ode to bush

If only we could be so lucky.  I called my representative yesterday.  Was told he will not be impeached.

kudos for making the call beccy

But having your representative "tell you" he won't be impeached makes it sound like you let your representative blow you off like the representative was shooing away a dog or chastising a small child rather than listening or explaining his of her position to someone he or she works for.

Your representative owes you at least his or her reasons for their position.

If activists would collect their representatives reasons and relate those reasons to others then others can make a run at the representative again.

"Thank You Dubya"

For God's sake and for those in the Third World, please DO NOT ask for Dubya's and Cheney's Impeachment. They are OUR EYE OPENERS! Ever since WWII, we venerated America, believed in America's holiness, believed in America's generosity, sincerity and justice! We believed in the IMF, the World Bank, the Security Council, the American scholarships, American Peace Corp etc blinded by American Media, Hollywood and the canards coming out of the White House and Capitol Hill. We did get jolted by Reagan accepting him as one time aberration. After all he was an actor and actors never write their scripts! You see, we are not well educated, especially in history. Nobody had taught us about the rape of the Philippines, Hawaii, the Mexican wars, US gun boats lobbing fire on Peking!  But now, thanks to the Bushites, neo-cons, the born agains, the rapturists, the imperialists etc , USA stands almost undressed before us. It's not a good sight but for the first time we are watching Real TV.  The remaining underwear which has yet to come down. So, please Rob, do not deprive us of the pleasure of seeing USA totally naked! There are still many doubters amongst us, who say that Dubya is another pardonable aberration and USA can yet pull up its dress in 2008! Please allow the World the opportunity to see what America really is, not for Americans, but for every one across the oceans and below Rio Grande!  (THIS IS TONGUE IN CHEEK. GO GET THEM! GOD SPEED)
