Rightwing Influenced MSM Media Pattern Emerging
The response to the Pelosi Murtha nomination shines a light upon a pattern we can expect from the mainstream media;

Female journalists will take shops at Speaker Pelosi. They will call here overly emotional, probably, soon, angry, easily upset, unstable. This is classic right wing media attack style, just like they did to Dean, Kerry and other powerful Democrats. Assume that any Democrat they treat that way is becoming more powerful. Figure Hillary will get a pass. The right wing is dying for her to run for president because they believe she can't win.

As the Democrats explore their options, try out different ideas, negotiate, politick, etc., the rightwing driven mainstream media will label any debate, any healthy competition or oped discussion of disagreement as weakness, failure, losing, loss of power, etc.

Their goal is to constantly and continuously diminish the power, respect image, reputation of Democratic leaders. They will report on extremely minor events and interactions as they were world shaking. They will bring on right wing talking heads to bloviate about how deep the failure, loss, embarassment, etc. the Power Democrats have experienced, and how horrible it will affect their future performance in all areas of life.

The female journalists who use feminine stereotypes are particularly backstabbing, betraying traitors. I'd say they are selling their femininity like whores.

Never forget that the right wingers who lost power are as nasty, dirty and underhanded as they were when they swiftboated John Kerry, when they hired detectives to find women who would bring charges against Bill Clinton. Their goal is to attack and DESTROY the images and reputations of all Democratic leaders, particularly ones who show promise as presidential contenders.

Then there are the DLC "centrist" republican lites, many of them from the Clinton camp, who will be waiting at the edges, trying to claim credit for the November election "wave," and seeking opportunities to snipe at progressively leaning Democrats. For example, James Carville, who just attacked Howard Dean, callilng him Rumsfeldesque for not spending money at the last moment on candidates who were doing better than expected.

Well, fool-- Mr. Carville, those Democrats were doing better, were running at all, because Dean pushed his 50 state plan against the loud complaints of DLC chronic losers. So , James, shut the F*** up. As Arianna told Keith Olbermann tonight, and I paraphrase, Carville has been a loser, with no new ideas, and pathetically weak on the Iraq war, for years. Expect Al Frum and probably Lieberman to play the same games.

Just because the Democrats won doesn't mean the right wingers have lost their rat fangs, scorpion stingers, toxic slime or stab in the back stilletos. Expect the worst from them, to be delivered from behind smiling faces telling glib lies.
