It’s easy to get distracted when the slimeball (George Bush senior’s word) who is credited with creating the trash heap White House administration Dubya presides over is being raked over the coals. But we must remember that the Downing street memos that describe the Bush administration’s efforts to sell the Iraq war to the American public with lies are pretty much describing the fraud that Joe Wilson described in his heroic NY Times OpEd back in 2003, reporting on the Yellowcake Uranium lies.
Rovegate= downing Street. These two stories must be linked together. We can’t expect the failed hacks who pretend to be network journalists to do the job, but the alternative media will be keeping their eye on both balls, reminding you and the public that these two events add up to a bigger, stronger proof that the Bush administration engaged in criminal acts to bring the country into war and then to hide the facts and punish accusers.
This OpEd writer doesn’t believe that the buck stops with Rove. Karl Rove is an operative working with the complete trust and authorization of George W. Bush. What Rove does Bush authorizes. It doesn’t matter because the right wing controlled congress is walking in the same lock-step formation—they approve, Bush approves, Rove does.
We who are not hypnotized by right wing evangelical sermons and theatrics and the pathetic need to use George Bush’s war talk and the Iraq quagmire as a kind of Viagra, to feel more manly, must keep pushing these two stories to the forefront, making Americans pay attention and to see the connection. Rove became a traitor, outing a CIA agent in order to punish a man who exposed the Bush administration’s lies that the used to start the war.
Repeat it again. Rovegate was motivated by the Bush cabal’s desire to silence a patriot who was whistle-blowing their lies about Uranium for Saddam, as described in the Downing street memos.
Contact your local newspaper and TV stations. Contact the networks. Demand that they connect the dots like any responsible journalist would do. Definitions of responsible (from dictionary.com) Liable to be required to give account, as of one's actions or of the discharge of a duty or trust, Able to be trusted or depended upon; reliable.
Don’t forget that Rovegate is just a smaller part of the big picture, that this country was fraudulently sold lies to bring us into an insane, totally incompetently planned for war.
Ask people if the Bush administration team who lied to us and then became traitors to attempt to cover it up deserve their loyalty. Some people don’t want to hear the truth, but more and more are finally waking up from their hypnotic stupor. Next year some senatorial and congressional seats will be on the line. Any right winger who continues to support the Bush fraud team should be thrown out of office, including right wing faux democrats. It’s time Americans started standing up for human rights instead of the interests of corporations, lobbyists and consultants. That means getting rid of extremist right wing republicans and DLC sellout democrats. Rovegate = Downing street memos = sellout politicians of all factions. It’s time for patriots to take back America and our media from corporatists, evangelists and sellouts who have forsaken American values.

A few declarations.
