Hillary and Bill Clinton both realize that there is no way for them to win the primary election, the delegate count or the popular vote count to take the presidential nomination away from Barack Obama.

The only remaining motive for them to stay in the race is to keep the contributions coming in, since any candidate in a campaign can keep leftover cash that was not utilized in their campaign.  I see nothing wrong with this since all of our politicians do the same thing.

I have heard from other loyal Democrats who tell me that they believe Hillary Clinton is staying in the primary race in order to muddy the political waters of the Obama campaign and insure that he will not be elected in the November general election so that Hillary Clinton can claim the throne in the year of 2012. There are many, myself included, who do not believe this theory.

From my perspective, Bill and Hillary Clinton are trying to win this election through the back door by utilizing psychology on the voting public and super delegates. They hope to win this election through their state of mind and not the ballot box.

The evidence:

(1)  Late in the primary process Hillary Clinton has made public statements of sympathy to Michigan and Florida voters and super delegates, stating that primary votes for her should be counted in these states and that their delegates at the convention should be seated and cast their votes for her.

(2)  Hillary Clinton tries to change the Democratic party rules by stating that Obama does not  have the experience and if the Democrats desire to win against McCain, then the Democratic super delegates should vote or select her instead of Obama.

(3) The Clinton campaign surrogates state publicly that Obama cannot win the election because Obama has too much dirty political baggage in regard to the Pastor Wright incident, his other associates, and his gun and   religion statements. However, Hillary Clinton does not mention the political baggage that she carries in regard to Whitewater, being a former Goldwater Republican, her career as a lawyer at the corporate Rose Law Firm in  Arkansas, and her position on the board of  Wall Mart, her votes on the Iraq War and the bill authorizing George Bush to confront the nation of Iran, and the new Bankruptcy Bill, and her support of NAFTA free trade treaties that are both anti-labor.

In addition, recent political polls show that Hillary is also believed untrustworthy. There is, therefore, sufficient evidence that Hillary  is now the one who cannot be elected.  Would you prefer a former corporate lawyer in the White House like Hillary Clinton, or a former civil rights attorney like Barack Obama?

(4)  We supporters and voters should also consider that both Hillary Clinton and her spouse have 32 years in public office for the Republicans to "Swift Boat" in comparison to only two years that Barack Obama has been in federal office.  From my viewpoint, the only thing that the Republicans can attack Obama for are wedge issues that have nothing  to do with his job performance as our president.

It is left for the voters in the remaining primary states, the Democratic Party and their party establishment super delegates to decide if they are going to listen to the will of the Democratic voters or listen to the psychological or propaganda tactics of playing the Hillary Clinton "mind game."
