PLEASE NOTE: I did not determine the dates for the March 2007 Event. I believe the date was selected to occur nearest the 4th Anniversary date of the beginning of the War in Iraq.

Just thought I'd pass that on... Anyhoo...

Begining Monday November 27, I'll be speaking with other local organizers to discuss a charter bus from North Central Florida as well as other areas of the state, to organize transportation to Washington DC for the March 17, 2007 Action in Washington DC. The 4th (and hopefully last) Anniversary of the Iraq War.

Here in North Central Florida We successfully filled two 54 seat buses and a 15 passenger van and the Peace Train from Jacksonville for the Sept 24, 2005 action in DC. I think we'll be able to do the same (and more) for this March 17, 2007 effort.

Hopefully the ride/lodging boards will be set up soonest.

Us "die hard" activists would like to see a real action oriented presence in DC. Some of us felt cheated by Camp Democracy and the watered-down effort. With their EXCLUSION of the strongest of the administration opponents.

We feel that ACTION rather than teach-in's, talky talking, and circle jerk speeches are a waste of our time and resources.

We also ask (if not actually demand) inclusion of EVERY activist group. If your orgainzers are against including the 9/11 Truth Movement, and the Vets For Peace,(and many others) then all of the best intentions will NOT gain our support.

We have all had more than enough of the political in-fighting, and nasty cross purpose between national groups(ya'll know who you are)! I can't tell you how disappointed I was in Camp Democracy (sorry David S. but you really let us down)

Everybody can bring their issues, their agendas, their signs and their bodies to DC.

We are vigorous in our demand for INCLUSION of ALL organizations resisting this administration. No matter what issue each of us is coming from. Recruit and include World Can't Wait, UFPJ, Code Pink, ANSWER, NOW, NARAL, GLBT groups, Velvet Revolution, Black Block, Save-The-USA groups, My Space posters, Impeach Bushco, 911 Truth, Iraq Vets for Peace, Gold Star Familys, Military Families Speak Out, Courage to Resist, Michael Moore, MoveOn, Media Matters, Alternet, Truthout, UAW, AFL-CIO,ALCU, NAACP, the SDS, Black Panthers, and all the rest that I may have forgotten to mention. GET THEM (and their lists) ON BOARD.

No more Ms.& Mr. Nicey Nice. We need to Shake Our Collective Fists in the face of the power elite. Many hands raised in solidarity. Fists clenched in defiance.

As a last comment, (actually a verbal caveat) if this effort turns into another turf war, another "my way or the highway" organizational action you can count us OUT. There are roughly 100 organizers and their respective groups who are not only ready, but actually HUNGRY for confrontation with this despicable administration.

We have here in Florida a core group of about 25 leaders who are not only ready for Civil Disobedience, but are positioned to make our own arrests part of the media coverage. If this March 17th effort sells out early on the concept of "Power Of The People" then none of us should bother with any of it. Just get our passports in order.

If this effort is co-opted by status quo activists, compromisor politics, and party hacks then, well, don't waste our time and resources.

We need a non-violent but determined, visable, and firm representation of the Will Of The People! We need to show up in numbers, in passion, in strength, in POWER!

It is waaaaay past time to take it to the streets. We changed the House and the Senate, literally overthrowing the incumbent government. Now we have a war to stop and the War with Iran to disarm. It is time to change the direction of our nation. To bend our "leaders" to the will of the people.

Electoral politics have failed us so far (IMPEACHMENT IS OFF THE TABLE? W.T.F.?), what remains is revolution.

We have a war to stop, lives to save, families to rescue, and treasure to re-build.

We have the numbers, we just lack clear forcefull leadership. And clear, competent Media people to do ADVANCE work. Let's give the MSM some REAL news to report.

We are ready to stand in front of the tanks. Ready to put flowers into the barrels of the guns, ready to sit down, and STAY until our voices are heard loud and clear. In numbers too large to ignore.

The time for talk is past. The time for action is here.

This is a clarion call to ACTION. The Hammer of Justice, the Bell of Freedom!

A demand for resistance.

Please, I'm beggin' ya here... No More Seminars! No more Conferences! No more dithering or debate about framing.
